SSD changes your life. I have 15+ of these for work and personal. I use them everyday all the time, I’ve had no issues. Highly recommend

Small and Fast

Comes formatted to exFAT by default but if cross compatability with MacOS is not an important format this to NTFS for best performance especially with small file transfers with Windows/Linux.

Fast SSD

Using this as a boot drive on USB 3.1 and basically makes my machine feel like new again. Can't imagine if i had USB C! Very happy with speed and no problems after about 4 weeks.

No complaints. A setting has to be changed for the whole drive to be formatted as "read & write" but with that done the drive just sits there and works.

Great Value for a SSD drive

Super fast, very stable, no issues with data transmission during a gig. I have 3 of them, one for computer backup and one for soft synth backups.

Highly recommended for doing backups before Win 7 to Win 10 upgrades!

Excellent portable HD

I've had many different brands of hard drives including Lacie, G-Drive, Seagate and WD. I use them primarily to backup my MacBook Pro. This Samsung is by far the fastest and smallest hard drive I've used. The new MacBooks only have USB-C inputs and this drive includes the cable as well as a USB-A cable. It is password protected, which is another great option that some of the previous models don't offer. I bought this one on sale and for a 1TB SSD drive, this was a great deal. This is thing is ridiculously small, which makes it ultra portable. Even if you can't find this on sale, but want something fast and portable, this is about the best available. I would definitely recommend this.

Worth every penny, and very realiable for storing data over a period of time. The price is great with Best Buy!

Plugged into my computer through a thunderbolt/USB-C port. Works as expected and is honestly faster than my internal HDD!

Excellent SSD

I edit both 4K videos in Final Cut Pro X and RAW images in Lightroom from a Sony A7III off this SSD and performance has been nothing but stellar.
