I like how portable and slim this drive is. Super light, compact, with monster storage.

I love this storage device! The size is very small and portable. Seems like a solid build, it has an aluminum shell. Samsung supplies two cables, one for usb c to usb c and the other from usb c to usb. Ready to plug and play with either connection. Plenty fast read and write speed.

Great to have this backup, which is so small / portable. I have had good experiences with Best Buy and this external SSD. I have purchased several for work, to hold all of my editing projects. SSD's just cost more, but am assuming that the price will come down on this. I have had a 2 HDD's give up the ghost recently. That 'death rattle' sound of moving parts clinking against each other is ominous and enough for me to replace all of my externals, not recalling how old they were. It is worth the money now for me, as I spent days trying to recover, alas unsuccessfully.

Perfect!!!!! Small in size but holds a lot. About the size of a credit easy to carry in a pocket. Price point was on the mark.

I don’t have much luck with standard externals which is unfortunate due to their immense portable space and convenience so given that I’ll be needing some reliable portable drives I decided to take a dip into the external SSD pool. 2 TB may not seem like a lot but I’ve got about 20 or so games installed (some between 30-100 GB apiece) and still have half of my space left. It runs as well as you would expect for SSD. I’m no expert, I don’t notice it run any faster or lower I just notice my laptop doesn’t lag like it does it with my external.

Overall, very solid piece of technology. Slim, fast, and reliable. No complaints!

This portable external SSD is extremely fast, and lightweight. The connectivity is suitable as well, with Samsung bundling both a USB-C to USB-C, and USB-C to USB-A cable in the box. This allows the SSD to be used with PC, Mac, and Linux machines (formatted as FAT for compatibility), and with either of the USB formats. The read and write speeds reported by Samsung are accurate per my testing. Overall, a great purchase if you need an extra location to back up important data or to transfer files quickly between computers, especially when it's on sale.

Got while on Vacation. Ordered on line. Picked up at store on the way back to the hotel. Able to back up photos we took. Backed up some extras off the much smaller internal drive that is not worth replacing. The T7 was nice to be able to connect to other computers. It was super fast and transferred 400 GBs of photos and documents in the matter of minutes. Definitely would buy another one if I need a larger model in the future. The 1TB was a really useful size and fits nicely in any of my travel cases.

this little hard drive the transfer from mu computer was at 650mg per minute, i was able to store hundreds of movies on it and it hook right up to my Samsung 4k player with no problem

Use this for dedicated windows backups. Fast, compact, well cushioned, and reliable. On sale occasionally.

This external SSD includes both USB-C and the older style USB connectors in the box. It is small and thin with a metallic shell. While not tested, it says it has a 2 meter drop distance. I would recommend this to others looking for an external SSD.

More power- faster downloads. Less bulky storage! Compact and efficient! Had to replace my external storage due loss of information. Less worry to know that data is better protected with more advanced technology. And the price is definitely not hard on the budget neither! Great choice ,best comparable purchase on the market.

The Samsung T7 2TB SSD is incredibly fast and compact. File transfers are smooth and much quicker than a traditional external drive. The build quality feels premium, and the hardware encryption adds extra peace of mind for sensitive data. Easy to use with both USB-C and USB-A cables included. Highly recommended for backups and everyday use.

Was able to get a good deal on it for price and it's great. Using it as an upgrade for an older imac, only using usb for hookup, but it's quite a bit faster. Everything loads quickly, very easy to setup and happy I did it, feels like a newer computer and all my apps run more efficiently. Definitely going to get another one or two, oh and wow, it's small, really small, which is impressive over the older ssd's.

Samsung - T7 2TB External USB 3.2 Gen 2 Portable Solid State Drive with Hardware Encryption I especially appreciate the facts that there is no moving parts, fast read/write speeds and very compact. This is the second one I’ve purchased. I fly the DJI INSPIRE 2 and that machine is a data devouring Drone. I can easily download my 960GB CINESSD memory stick to my MacBook through Apple’s Final Cut Pro at full resolution, transfer to the SAMSUNG SSDs then retrieve pieces back to the Mac as I go into production mode.

Small size with plenty of space. Makes a great backup drive for my PC and I can bring it to a friend's in my pocket. Data transfer rates are pretty quick

Fantastic small 2TB external SSD Drive, I have so many tv shows and movies downloaded on here and it’s great to carry them wherever I go. The speed is super fast and I know people complain how hot it can get but I only noticed that while transferring my files from my PC to the drive. But it hasn’t got hot while it’s plugged into my tv watching movies and TV shows. I do check it once in a while to make sure and it’s nice and cool

Great solid state portable hard drive . I use it for storing photos and videos .with today’s cameras taking such high megapixel images, why eat up storage on your computer .

You have a Tesla and still running that original thumb drive? Upgrade to this , Less issues and more storage works flawlessly
