After decades of using large platter disk external hard drives for back up this Samsung device is a real joy. It is just slightly larger and thicker than a credit card and could easily fit into a spacious wallet. I like that it comes with USB-C to USB-C for my MacBook as well as USB-C to USB-A cables for my PC. The drive is super fast. I reformatted it with 2 partitions with disk utility on my MacBook. I use one for Time Machine back up and the second for file sharing.

This is a great product! It's 10 times faster than my old hard drive external storage. It performs even better then I expected. The size makes it very easy to carry all my important data with me. It's cheaper to buy a second one as a back up and replace my cloud storage. No more internet or tech issues with paid cloud storage. Highly recommend this product!

Best buy always has great prices that been better than Amazon and other electronic distributors for the past year especially when it comes to this item in particular. Legit a best buy and bought really cheap for great performance! Would recommend for the really small size and speed!

Using this drive as an augmentation drive for a video processing laptop with a full drive. Attached via USB-C with a 40gbps rated cable. This drive copies quickly and able to use Adobe Premiere to create and render video as if were a system drive. Previously did this on a sandisk extreme ssd on the same cable and had nothing but problems. This drive has been extremely useful is processing and has greatly reduced previous stress and issues.

After using the Samsung T7 1TB SSD for a year, I’m happy to grab a second one. It’s been a solid drive—super fast for transferring big files, and the size makes it easy to toss in my bag. The hardware encryption is a nice perk, especially since I’ve got some work files on it. I also own the SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD, which is great too, but I feel the T7 runs cooler and feels a bit sturdier over time. Overall, it’s a solid, reliable choice.

Love these Samsung SSDs. They are fast and reliable little drives. The only downside is that they’ve gone up in price from what they used to be.

Perfect for my needs. You can reformat the drive any way you’d like and even split the format. It’s perfect for music projects and catalogues. Plenty of space for documents and can even be used as a back up for your laptop. Very easy to use I have about five of these devices.
