Love it, love it, love it, love it, just love that this is a great product and i was avle to put both computer hard-drives on it

Best ssd ever so portable and has alot of storage and never fails on me.

Slim, small and fat this SSD is a very practical storage for large files. I use it for my photographs, and the transfering is very fast. The encryption is very important for me, to keep safe all y files, and the setup of the password is easy as also, opening the disk to read the files.

Definitely needed and it out did my expectations for this device. Definitely would do again.

Needed an external drive in order to transfer files and documents regularly from multiple physical locations. It's built quite nicely and it is so slim, I can place it inside one of my backpack pockets. Transfer speeds are much faster than when I was dragging around a bulky plastic hard drive.

If you need a reliable and fast external SSD, you can't go wrong with this model. As a design professional, I have extensive storage needs and I've tried a few different models. In my opinion, the Samsung T7 offers the best value for the price and highly recommmend. Its fast and reliable, which are the most important attributes

I love this SSD! Very useful device. It's small and and accurate as advertised. It's fast and great for high speed data transfer especially in photo or video editing. I mostly utilize this as an editing drive because it's designed for such high bandwidth transfer rates.

Thisnhas been one of my best purchases for my pc, external ram is very much needed when most PC's only come with around 500gb internal, great buy! No problems so far. And its been about a year since purchase. Still running strong and a highly reccomended product by me to my freinds for a while now!

Used it to back up a Mac Book. It was straightforward and did the job. It was a bit more expensive that I thought an external drive should be - but Best Buy had it on the shelf.

Great product great value performed as I expected. This is actually my second purchase I have different other storage sizes in this size and brand. It’s a brand I keep going back to because of the right liability of the product. I just need more storage space for what I do and I can count on it. And the speed is like standing outstanding.

Excellent SSD. Bought it to back up my computer that was running slow. Took hardly any time at all to move 400 GB worth of data over. Definitely worth the extra money for the high speed and very easy to use. Make sure your computer has high speed USB ports to get the maximum speed out of this.

I was able to restore my late 2012 iMac (bought in 2013) using this beauty. The Fusion Drive (mechanical section) had failed. I loaded iOS to a flash drive using shift-command-R on boot up. Split the Fusion drive. Finally restored my 1.1 TB system to this 2TB external drive using Time Machine (from a 5TB external HD). Now the iMac runs faster and better than new from this external SSD over the speedy USB 3 port.

Good portable SSD for filmmakers and videographers! Fast speeds and hours of BRAW footage at Q0 on the Blackmagic Pocket Cinema 4k. Being able to document and not worry about the footage corrupting or about storage to record at the highest settings. Highly recommend for reliability and quality.

The performance of this Samsung SSD has been nothing short of exceptional. The read and write speeds are incredibly fast, making data transfers a breeze, whether it’s large files or backing up important data. I’ve been using it for both personal and professional purposes, and it handles everything I throw at it without a hitch. What stands out the most is the reliability. Even during extended use, the device remains cool and performs consistently without any slowdown. It’s also very quiet, with no noticeable noise even when transferring large amounts of data.

When bench testing, the drive read & wrote at advertised speeds using MacBook Air M4. Under sustained, heavy loads, the drive gets warm, but never did it get too hot to comfortably touch. Note that I did not install the included software. I formatted it for use with MacOS Time Machine and it works fine. The price at Best Buy was very competitive. Shipping was nearly instantaneous. One odd thing is that the manual never mentions when the LED should be illuminated, flashing or off. Occasionally, when I know it is writing or reading, there is no light or the light is solid. Even when the computer is off, sometimes the LED is lit. Beats me!

Have several other brands at this point. The Samsung is the only one i feel confident is not going to crash on me with valuable photos and video files on it. Its worth the premium to get the reliability.

After 30 days of use—moving large files to my new MacBook Air—the T7 has felt like a trusty sidekick. It’s astonishingly compact, and I’ve tossed it in my bag without a second thought. A slight warmth under heavy write‑loads is the only quirk I’ve noticed—but nothing a quick pinch won’t handle.
