Always would choose Samsung when it comes to external storage. Fast and reliable.

i'm guessing the new T9 series is faster, but this is my 2nd one of the T7 series and, like the first, it is fast, extremely convenient (small/thin/light), has a quality solid steel feel, and comes well packaged with 2 USB cables. Great piece of gear. Came formatted ex-Fat and that is what I needed - transfers seamlessly between Windows PC and Mac and can handle very large files.

This thing works like greased lightning and it’s small, about the size of 4 credit cards stacked together. Only issue was getting it to eject properly the first time using the Windows 11 “safely eject USB device “. Kept getting an error that it could be ejected because it was still in use. Could never find a reasonable resolution and don’t know if it was the device itself or Windows 11. Other than that, I love it!

I bought this to save space on my laptop while working with VM's. Total game changer. Will be getting a larger capacity next but this has been a godsend.

Ive used various external SSD drives to free up storage space on my mac and I have to say samsung are the best. Doesnt get hot, works like it should with no problems

Fast and compact! I bought one for my new Xbox Series X and one for my new PS5 to store and play earlier console games. I love the speed and they tuck nicely behind the consoles using very little space! They are a bit pricy, but definitely worth it if you can afford one.

Using it for Sentry mode on Tesla Model 3 for a month now. It gets hot when the car is left in the sun. Nonetheless, it still works, and no issues so far.

Extremely fast. Using this drive to install and run games. Gears of War, World of Tanks, World of War Planes, Microsoft Flight Simulator 2020, and all my Steam games run from this drive flawlessly. Much better to gobble up space on this drive than on the onboard SSD.

The fact that something the size of a couple credit cards thick can hold 2TB of data reliable, is affordably priced and super portable is just mind blowing. Don't hesitate if you're on the fence - these Samsung SSDs are awesome. Plug and play out of the box for Mac or PC. Fantastic.

Amazingly small and compact, this 2TB drive is fast when connected to Thunderbolt3, but also works well when connected to a USB3 port. The flexibility is key for me. I partitioned into two Volumes, one for Time Machine backup and one for storage of videos. Well worth the price.

Very small and light. durable metal case. It stays cool to the touch. Fast performance with little to no delay when using it. I use it for my local source for my cloud storage and have had no issues in synchronization.

Picked this up as an expansion to my Xbox and it has worked great. It’s super fast and has all the cables you need in the box. Very reliable and can be used for a multitude of USB or USB-C setups. It’s about as high quality as you can get for a portable SSD drive! Would buy again.

Exactly what I needed. Functions properly and haven’t had any issues thus far. Opted for this over the more durable one since I don’t plan on using it outside my home.

I tested with dd with 1MB blocksize and got 300MB/s write and 535MB/s read with my Mac using USB C. Time Machine update is really fast now.

Great sleek, portable, and reliable SDD. I brought this to back up my video footage of a graduation ceremony. The transfer rates are super fast on either USB-C or USB 3 (both cables come with the SSD, which is nice).

Gave me plenty of extra storage at the convenience of simply plugging it into a USB.
