So far, it appears to be efficient at backing up my laptop. It gets a bit hot while it's working; cools down pretty quickly. Reassuring to have so much memory in such a small, efficient device.

small, fast storage!

These will also work great as Dash Cam drives if you own a Tesla or Rivian.

This drive is at its best when plugged into a USB C thunderbolt port on a Mac. They are not the fastest out there but a dedicated Thunderbolt drive gets very hot and will slow down to the same speed as this when they get hot. All in all it’s a good product. Haven’t had a problem.
