Owned for 2 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I HAVE BOUGHT ABOUT 6 OF THESE AND THEY PERFORMED WELL...TRANSFER SPEED WAS TYPICALLY 300MBS WHICH IS ABOUT 8 TIMES FASTER THAN I WAS GETTING ON OTHER INFERIOR DEVICES AND IT SAVED ME MUCH TRANSFER VIDEO TIME.

I use it for DAW both at home and on stage. It's fast, it's big, and I have no latency issues at all. Some complain about heat issues, but I have not had any, and I tax it out quite a bit (reading DAW sounds). The only con is the price. I wish it were more around the $200 range, and that it were true Thunderbolt, but that typically doubles the price.

External memory for PS5

Didn’t know that. The internal memory goes quick! This external memory works well and is just a quick USB that we could easily plug in on the backside of the console. Works well!

Quick and compact

It's fast and it's small - it's not going to become a primary storage drive for large video projects at only 1TB, but it works great as a spot to park both a Final Cut Pro X library as well as working media for an active project. Once the project is delivered I tend to dump the data to a slower drive for archiving and wipe this one. Works great!
