Can’t Be Beat

But it’s definitely better protected than non rugged ones, which I also own. These are super fast and super reliable. I have had SSDs fail and not one of my Samsung ones have let me down.

Rugged and durable SSD

I have 100% confidence in this SSD when traveling. Do note that the Samsung magician software is not currently compatible with MacOS, this is completely optional however. Using the ExFat format, I got speeds in the ~350 mb/s on MacOS Ventura (M1 silicon). I reformatted the drive to APFS encrypted (Apple Specific) and got read/write speeds in the ~900 mb/s range. I chose this SSD over the Sandisk Extreme due to extra drop protection and the silicon coating.

Great Size, Durable

Transfer speeds are great. The only negative is that the included cord is too long for my use case. Irs probably 8-10 inches long when all I need is 1-3 inches for laptop usage. I swapped the cord out with another USB-C fast cable that is smaller so it works great for my setup now.
