Q: Is this external drive compatible with Mac and Mac note.
A: It is compatible with Mac. Yes that’s how I use it.
A: It will show all files on the drive. The OS (Windows, Mac, Linux) determines what shows, this is merely a storage device nothing more. Storing duplicates windows will ask if you want to replace the file but only if it has the same name.
A: Babs: Both the T7 and T7 Shield have the same USB interface, maximum sequential reading and maximum sequential writing speeds. They both have the same security with password protection; support the Samsung Portable SSD Software and Samsung Magician Software and use AES 256-bit hardware encryption. The main visible difference between the two drives is that the T7 Shield is the only one to offer any protection against dust and water. With an IP65 rating, the Shield version is fully dust tight in addition to being able to be submerged underwater at a maximum depth of 1 meter for up to 30 minutes. The T7 offers a drop resistance of up to 2 meters while the T7 Shield offers a drop resistance of up to 3 meters. - Samsung Memory
Q: Can it store ps5 games and play ps5 games from the drive
A: Bee: You can store PS5 games onto the drive. To play PS5 games, you need to copy game data from your USB extended storage drive back to your PS5 console's internal SSD storage. It’s much quicker to copy a PS5 game from USB extended storage than to re-download it. Should you have any questions or need assistance using this product, know we are always here to help. Very pleased with this unit and its performance. Physically it's durable and well protected, yet small and easy to store and transport. It connects flawlessly to all my devices including my Android phone, desktop computer, and my laptop, making it easy to quickly transfer files between them. Transfer speeds are much higher than wifi or Bluetooth, so large video files from my phone and 3D video camera are no problem. Will soon be acquiring more of these for continued storage and data backups. Highly recommended.

The SSD comes with two cables -- a USB-A 3.x to USB-C, and a USB-C to USB-C. I confirmed that they are both data AND charge. So you can deploy them for other uses such as charging your phone or programming your microcontroller. The installation software supports Windows 7 and higher, macOS 10.10 and higher, and Android 5 and higher. Installation permits optional AES 256-bit hardware password protection. The datasheet says that it is drop-resistant to 3 meters. It is equipped with an IP65 rating for water and dust resistance. I did a Windows 10 copy/paste backup of 53 GB in 44 minutes. I will continue to backup more at this rate. You could use Macrium Reflect to clone your whole drive to this grab-and-go device.
