Doesn't overheat. Read and write speeds are good. I like the IP65 rating so I don't have to buy a case for it. The rubber cover is excellent, and you don't have to worry about accidentally sliding your hard drive off a table.

Good product, reliable so far and I use it for various data transfer types. Videos, files, and other storage uses. No issues so far! Would recommend for the extra protection

As a photographer I often need some more hard drive space to move files around and can work directly from these fast, nice looking SSD mini hard drives from Samsung. I have three others and they are wonderful. Happy too that I got this last one in a nice blue — I do like that color.

Don't know what some reviews were missing, but I plugged this into my new computer and was able to back up every piece of critical data with the simple right click/copy/paste function in reasonable time. I had 1.5 TB of data, pictures, docs, pdf's & music. No problem. Highly Recomend.

Great for photographers! I've been using these for years no - I had been previously using western digital externals and had noting but issues and failures. This is made so well, my puppy has gotten ahold of of these last year and chewed it up and it still worked fine somehow!
