Lessons learned the hardway, we now use this as a hardware backup and rotate devices fir backups. Went with a little bit more sturdy case. No long term info yet, but it does what it says.

So much faster than a USB 3.0 HDD

When copying large amounts of data (tens to hundreds of GB of video files), this is a huge advantage. And the addition of IP65 dust and water resistance and more protection if dropped are very nice features for my usual settings of use.

I have it plugged into my kid’s ps5 and it barely heats up with hours of use. Holds a ton of games, and ps4 games can be played directly from this external memory on the PS5
