One of the best SSDs on the market. Great writing speed and overall quality. The fact that it is protected from water, dust and falling is a great addition to confidence if you use it outdoors.

This device was purchased to afford me the ability to back up all data I currently have on the flash drive I use. In addition I will be able to back up more data currently on my laptop once I learn how to back up data. This back-up drive is connected to my lap top

Love this product, and it is worth the extra $50 than if I have gotten the HDD. It so quick to transfer videos from my Go Pro micro SD card. And it is pretty much plug and play.

I like the size and the case it is in. I haven't had it very long and have not installed any games yet. This was what I was looking for and the design and price was just right. Can't wait to install my new games on it and start using it.

Have used this with my macbook air. Use it for storing my drone footage, back up docs and video editing raw files. It has been rock solid. Am picking up another one for back up storage.

Rock solid. I have had many portable platter style drives and this ssd tops them all. Compact, rugged. Can handle some water on it. Boots lightning fast. Great as an external extra drive and finds data faster than any I have owned before.

I needed a drive to download a bunch of files from cloud storage because I was stopping multiple service subscriptions. the drive works well with macOS (and APFS). most importantly, it is fast and has USB C.

This was exactly the External Drive I needed to back up my entire computer! I'm very glad for the peace of mind knowing I have an additional back up and it was so easy to use.

I use this as a backup of a 2.5TB Pictures folder on a Mac Mini. I tested this disk for a few weeks without any issues and it has been working reliably and quite fast. I do not use any of the Samsung included software.

I bought this to back up my data on my laptop, and it does the job. It comes with both USB-C cable and older USB adapter. It was easy to set up and format. Its small size means it will easily fit anywhere.

Love it and I got such high speeds with a thunderbolt cable its just as fast as the San Disk Professional that cost 3-4x more. Really happy!! Got 3000 mbps!!

this is good! I installed my software and it can run whole day with any problem. I was installed my software in the regular hard drive, the hard drive was broken and made my App lost and my photos too.

So much faster than a USB 3.0 HDD. This is a huge advantage when copying many GB of data. The protection against shock from dropping and the IP65 dust and water resistance are very nice features for the conditions in which I use the drive.

The best ssd for audio production / sample libraries and huge amounts of session files. Everything loads and runs flawlessly and you dont have to treat it so fragile like the other models.

Solid construction. Added benefit of the water resistant really puts piece of mind when doing on the go travel whether outdoor taking photos or running through the rain to the airport.
