This is a great portable projector. The design is perfect. I use it even more than I thought I would. I use this glamping setup with the kids, in hotel rooms with friends, so we have two TVs, mostly for sporting events. We also use it in my upstairs game room to watch sports while we watch a movie, play games, or watch a movie. The projector is bright and easily adjustable on both the vertical and horizontal axes, meaning it can be set up perfectly on any surface. There Is a separate battery available. It is very bright and looks great all the time. I do wish the setup did not default to using Wifi. It makes it challenging when you have to set it up in hotels and camping, which does occasionally happen. Also, I wish it supported hotel wifi like a portable Roku. Finally, I wish it supported AirPlay. These ease-of-use challenges while traveling are why I only gave it four stars instead of 5. I do recommend buying the Samsung case for it and a generic hard drive or roku streaming case for its accessories and adapters or you will forget them. Overall, this is a great addition to any traveller and even better if you travel with friends or family. However, there are some areas where it can be improved.

I see the majority of the reviews are from people who received this for free. I bought this projector for 599.00 plus tax, so about 640.00 in total. Worth every penny. It is so easy to use. If you use Samsung Smart Things app, setup is so simple. It is literally almost plug and play. The picture quality is awesome! It is so bright and vibrant. We use this for movie night outside, but I love it most watching the news in the kitchen in the morning. Everyone else is sleeping and I just project to the ceiling in the kitchen and not disturb the house. It auto focuses itself perfectly everytime.

I picked up the Freestyle for a mix of fun and work. Most of what I have seen of this projector is near perfect. The appa run smooth, the sound is great, and the portability is easy and light. The only problem I feel is the available ports. I wish there was a normal size HDMI or USB. But a converter or hub takes care of that problem. This projector is not intended for lite rooms and some images are darker than I would perfer. These are minor problems but worth noting. I am getting the battery pack for it soon and look toward to bringing to more outtings. This first month of having the Freestyle has proven that it is worth investing for the hub and battery pack.

We havent had it real long but i like it more than the other ones we previously looked at. I like the fact that rhis is a smart projector and it is set up like our TV as well. Video display has been awesome so far. The auto focus is also like an auto range detector. It automatically adjust the size of the picture based on the distance between the projector and projector screen or surface. We are looking dorward ro ising it in the yard with the neighbors watching movies and having our own movie screenings. The picture provided was in a brightly lit room on a grooved tile surface. The speaker on the projector is great dor somewhere in the house. Looking forward ro bluetoothing it to my big outdoor speakers.

Been a month since I got the Samsung Freestyle Projector and it's awesome. It's really light so I can move it around easily. The picture is super clear, even in the daytime, and at night it's even better. The sound is great too, which I didn't expect from something this small. It's really easy to use. I can share my screen with it and watch all my favorite apps directly. I even started using it for work instead of my old monitors, and it's been great. It does everything I need and more. Honestly, buying this projector was the best decision I've made. It's made everything from watching movies to working way better.

Hands down one of my favorite purchases ever. so easy to take anywhere and connects/ mirrors off iphone and android. sound is great but also connects to any speaker if you want that theater experience. i’ve had it for about a year now, use it almost daily and i have no issues. definitely worth the price.

I was worried that it might not be bright enough but in a light controlled room (blackout curtains) even in day light, i can watch it very nicely. Also, auto keystone is something I like a lot. Now that i tried it at my home, i will definitely recommend it. If you don't have a light controlled room, you can't see this in daylight. This is not a TV.

So i brought this thing for my kids birthday party so they can watch movies, video games and it did just that and was super easy to use they could use it with ease. Im shocked on the quality of this device. I have been using for my game night playing Xbox. Im now looking for a surround sound system for this thing i thought i was only going to use once. I love this little thing!

Best Projector on the market! Ive tried several projectors and this is by far the best one ive owned! If you are thinking about getting it, JUST GET ITTT!!!Image is high quality and is much easier on the eyes versus a TV. I also love how its small soo it doesnt take space and how its very versatile with quick adjusting… oh AND its portable for you to take on the go as long as you have wifi!

My girlfriend bought me this Samsung Freestyle 2nd generation projector for my Birthday gift. I really enjoy this projector. Its good to have for the house hold, for entertainment in the family room or any room of the house. When connecting to the portable battery, which making it much more convenient. I haven't tried connecting it to any gaming systems, but incan only imagine the outcomem it will be incredible for a gamer. I highly recommend this device. Its my first samsung projector and i am one happy. Birthday boy/man. Try it out and enjoy it with the family.

Finally I am super happy with this product. Super picture. However, I had trouble setting this up so I decided to return it I was told then it would be an $80.00 restocking fee. I was furious if I had known this I would not have bought it. I decided to keep it a few more days and try to find someone to set it up for me. Luckily I did my son came over and set it up. I am so very pleased with this product. I do not know if shopping at Best Buy in the future is for me with this restocking fee. The sales girl was rude she told me people buy these to go on vacation then return them. I am 73 years old and that was an insult to me. So great product store needs to be more customer loyalty worthy

My daughter and my guys love watching games outside with the Samsung Freestyle 2nd Gen. The picture is crisp, sound is solid, and setup is a breeze. It turns any backyard into the perfect spot for sports nights. We use it all the time — total game-changer!

I think it is better than I have expected. It is very portable as long as you have an extension cord for the outdoors. There is no built-in battery but that's normal. Great for outdoor use and dim light areas. Also like the game hub ability to play games

The setup is very simple and the quality is amazing regardless if its at 50 inch or 100! Totally worth every penny

Amazing product love how well the quality is for such a small device. And the sound quality is amazing too. It sounds like a surround sound speaker.
