A projector that is so close to being perfect
This is a great portable projector. The design is perfect. I use it even more than I thought I would. I use this glamping setup with the kids, in hotel rooms with friends, so we have two TVs, mostly for sporting events. We also use it in my upstairs game room to watch sports while we watch a movie, play games, or watch a movie. The projector is bright and easily adjustable on both the vertical and horizontal axes, meaning it can be set up perfectly on any surface. There Is a separate battery available. It is very bright and looks great all the time. I do wish the setup did not default to using Wifi. It makes it challenging when you have to set it up in hotels and camping, which does occasionally happen. Also, I wish it supported hotel wifi like a portable Roku. Finally, I wish it supported AirPlay. These ease-of-use challenges while traveling are why I only gave it four stars instead of 5. I do recommend buying the Samsung case for it and a generic hard drive or roku streaming case for its accessories and adapters or you will forget them. Overall, this is a great addition to any traveller and even better if you travel with friends or family. However, there are some areas where it can be improved.

Love my Samsung Freestyle Projector
I picked up the Freestyle for a mix of fun and work. Most of what I have seen of this projector is near perfect. The appa run smooth, the sound is great, and the portability is easy and light. The only problem I feel is the available ports. I wish there was a normal size HDMI or USB. But a converter or hub takes care of that problem. This projector is not intended for lite rooms and some images are darker than I would perfer. These are minor problems but worth noting. I am getting the battery pack for it soon and look toward to bringing to more outtings. This first month of having the Freestyle has proven that it is worth investing for the hub and battery pack.

Just ok
I was really excited about getting the freestyle. I love Samsung products & I needed a solution for a small bedroom with limited Wall space. This was the perfect solution, but overtime im feeling that it's not quite living up to my expectations. Because it is a small room im not able to set it up directly across from the screen so I wanted something with auto Keystone. The freestyle does tht but it'll also "move" the projection after turning it back on even if the projector isn't moved. It'll either go small/large & off screen moving the picture. Also, it's stays slightly out of focus. It's not a sharp clear image. I try auto focus but it says there's an error, so I use manual but it never gets quite clear. It "resets" settings periodically unlike a TV that's just stays. There's also some instances where the projection is a little dark for dark movies & it can be loud esp if the room is quiet.
