It worked as described but with my ambient lighting I had to upgrade a bit. It would be good for a dark location.

Absolutely love it, it’s like a movie theater in my home!

I've always been fascinated by portable projectors, and the Samsung Freestyle Gen 2 is a great entry point into the world of projectors. From the moment I unboxed it, I was struck by its sleek, cylindrical design. Weighing just a bit over a pound, this little device promises big things, and it mostly delivers. The setup was a breeze. I connected it to my Samsung account using my smartphone, which was a nifty feature. The Freestyle Gen 2's automatic features like Auto-Leveling, Auto Focus, and Auto Keystone are simply outstanding. It didn't matter where I placed it; the projector almost always gave a near perfect, distortion-free picture. While the auto features had limitations, they were leaps and bounds above other projectors I’ve used. As long as you place the device in a decent location, it will correct to very close to perfect. This is probably the most impressive feature in my opinion, as this allows the projector to be used in very flexible situations. The image quality is surprisingly good for its size. The 1080p resolution and HDR capability create vibrant, clear images. I found the brightness to be quite sufficient for indoor use, though it struggles a bit in bright environments. The optimal screen size for me was around 70 inches – perfect for a cozy movie night. As long as you are using the projector in a dark room/location, it will provide an excellent image. Now, let's talk about sound. I didn’t expect much from the onboard speaker, but it was surprisingly robust. The 360° 5W speaker with its built-in woofer delivers a sound that’s rich and full, much better than what I've heard from other projectors in its class. As a casual gamer, I was thrilled with the Gaming Hub feature. Streaming games directly onto the projector without needing any extra console was a treat. The Bluetooth connectivity for my game controller worked flawlessly. I had lag at times while playing games, however it was good 99% of the time. Your miles may vary depending on your internet connection and wifi strength. The minimalist design extends to its ports as well, with just a USB-C and a Micro HDMI port, which I found to be more than adequate. The privacy-conscious side of me appreciates the ability to turn off the microphone. And the SolarCell remote is excellent. Performance-wise, it's not going to rival a high-end TV, but for a portable projector, it’s impressive. It boots up quickly, and navigating through the interface is smooth and intuitive. The added bonus of being able to power it with an external battery makes it even more versatile. I was not able to test the battery, but its nice that its an option to add later. In summary, the Samsung Freestyle Gen 2 has been a delightful addition to my tech arsenal. It's perfect for anyone looking for portability without compromising too much on quality. Whether for movies, gaming, or outdoor adventures, this projector packs a punch. It's a solid investment for entertainment enthusiasts who are always on the move.

Want to own a projector? I strongly recommend this one. This is my first projector that I ever had. It’s amazing but it’s not cheap at all.It has automatic adjusted when you move the projector from another wall or location and it take seconds to readjust so the screen can look clear.

Awesome prjector! My kids love watching movies outside with friends and family. Very cool.

Good Projector, and esay to use. Dont expect 4k as thus only HD.

Wow just unbelievable! Small compact projector but with a punch! Got it on sale and coulndt be any happier! Exceeded my expectations. The speaker built in is very loud and clear.

Not what I expected. We had a cheaper one boughtboff amazon worked geeat during the day as long as tou were ok with a lop sides screen. This one does not do as well if there is light and I am constantly having to adjust the screen. I like the fact that it is compact and has its on little stand and the self focus is great but still bot worth the price.

Had it since December of 2024, the display just went out completely and it no longer works. Tried resetting updating, and unplugging it but nothing. There were problems before this but not as bad. The price for this projector was not worth it sadly

Good quality overall but the image is not as clear as what I expected from FHD HDR, you can see the pixels. If you only plan to use it in complete darkness it will work fine. Phone mirroring keeps dropping (iPhone). Easy to unbox and start using once you login to all your accounts (Netflix, etc.). Not too portable if you don't get the battery otherwise you need to use it wired. I returned mine because I needed it to work without been connected to the power outlet and because of the low resolution and the poor image during the day.

Not compatible with any device and not up to the morden standard interns of charging port qnd connectivity with other apple products. I needed convenience but this didn’t help

A very good projector for its price. We love it as we have fun of theatre by lying on the bed and staring up on the roof.

Didn’t let me connect my micro hdmi. Bought a ton and none work

great quality and audio. only downfall is the outward shape around the image that's doesn't go away.
