The Samsung Freestyle 2nd gen with gaming hub portable projector has left me SPEECHLESS!! Fresh out of the box you already know this is going to be good. The portability is what got me and how easy it is to use. As soon as you set it up it prompts you to the screen which is loaded with so many apps to choose from, just like a smart TV. Since it's small you can place it in any area in your home. Once that's done and you turn it on the projector adjusts the screen on its own. So no more moving it around to get a great picture because this projector does it automatically. The picture quality is just beyond spectacular. You definitely get what you pay for. Navigating through the apps is very smooth and precise, the control is lightweight, rechargeable, and has the option to be solar charged. There is also no need for additional speakers, the ones that are built in are phenomenal and sound so good. But of course, if you would like, they are easy to set up. The one thing that really made me love this projector is that there is No need for a white surface to be able to project a good image. This projector will adjust to any color background. I used it on my blue wall and the picture quality was so good, I didn't see any difference. The gaming hub was also a great add-on, with so many games to choose from. If you are looking for a small portable projector with amazing specs then this is the one!!! Side note, it can also be use as a speaker and has lights that turn colors!!

This little projector is pretty neat! Gen 2 has come with a much-needed upgrade to the internals, making it significantly faster. The user interface is smooth and seamless. Clicking through menus and changing settings is a breeze; no more frequent stuttering! The image is crisp and bright in the perfect setting. I'd recommend keeping the room as dark as possible, but you knew that already haha. I included some pics of a regularly lit room and one where all the lights are off and windows are closed. The Smart Calibration feature is fantastic. You place it in the most convenient spot and it does all the hard work for you. Auto Focus, Auto Leveling, and Auto Keystone. However, if you're not satisfied with the way it sets itself up, it does give you the option to change the settings manually. The gaming hub is a cool feature! You can use cloud gaming to play on this projector. I found it to be too laggy for my taste. If you're playing a fast pace, FPS game, this probably won't be your main driver. That being said, I found that connecting my phone through HDMI and playing that way was okay. Still not the most optimal experience, but fun nonetheless.

Worth every penny. It is so easy to use. If you use Samsung Smart Things app, setup is so simple. It is literally almost plug and play. The picture quality is awesome! It is so bright and vibrant with great sound. We used this for movie night in our theater room when we first moved into our new home. It auto focuses itself perfectly every time.

This is a great solution to having a large screen on the go! It's tiny but mighty and can adjust to any screen size you want! I can have it shine on the wall or the ceiling. It has all the streaming apps you want and you can add more according to your preferences/subscriptions. The sound system is incredible and easily connects to my sound bar using bluetooth. The main reason I bought this is so I can do my business presentations at different venues, but I consistently have issues with it connecting to my computer. Once I finally get it connected, if it sits idle for too long, it disconnects automatically and I have to reconnect all over again.

I received the first one yesterday and really amazed at the picture quality just on a grey painted wall. Image nice and clear and paired together with my 990Q soundbar via wifi. Getting another unit delivered tomorrow and will pair both for a 160" image. I took 2 pictures, one with light and one with a wiz blue light setting for movies. I like the portability and can take anywhere. Tech doesn't come cheap, but it is well worth the $800 tag it has vs the previous gen.

Review: The Samsung Freestyle is a very convenient and well designed portable projector. Setup is fast, the auto focus and auto keystone work surprisingly well, and the picture quality is good for casual viewing, especially in dim or dark rooms. Now the part that matters: this is not a home theater replacement. Brightness is limited, and in well lit rooms the image quickly loses impact. Sound is decent for its size, but external speakers make a noticeable difference. You are paying for portability and ease of use, not raw performance. Final verdict: excellent for travel, small apartments, or flexible setups. If you expect a bright, cinematic projector for daytime use, this is not the right choice.

Super portable, very easy to set up and use, we move it all over the house. Projects onto a white wall with some texture and does well. Not bright enough for use in a well lit or sunny room on a large wall, but ok on a smaller projector screen under those conditions.

I am absolutely obsessed with The Freestyle! I was skeptical about a portable projector, but this thing blew me away. Great product. The ease of setting up the unit is great. With built in smart tv makes the projector a self sufficient product. It works great on walls even better on a projector screen the 1080p quality is there when the projector is 90 degrees to the screen. When projecting at a 45 degreen angle the far side of the screen will loose quality at closer distances this is not as noticeable. I use it often in different rooms. Only flaw is it does not come with a travel case which would make this product perfect.

I’m very impress by this Samsung compact projector, easy to use and you can take it anywhere for fun movie nights or even video games. Good resolution with 1920- 1080 for movies or video games , is like you’re watching it on tv but on a wall, the built in speakers are just as good with a capability of 360 degree sound but the most amazing things on this projector is the auto keystone feature and the built samsung game hub that you can play video games with subscriptions like Xbox games, all you need is to connect your wireless Xbox or any Bluetooth video game controller and you can use the Samsung game hub. Another unique thing that comes with this Samsung freestyle projector is the solar cell remote control that you can recharge either solar or use the usb cable, the remote comes with integrated buttons for Disney+, Netflix and prime video. Playing movies with this projector is awesome but I really enjoy the Samsung game hub, I use my Bluetooth game controller and I was impressed by the good stability without getting disconnected from the projector while playing different games from Amazon Luna and Xbox account, I was also able to connect my Nintendo Switch OLED to the mini HDMI port that this projector has and it works well, you just have to buy a mini HDMI that’s comparable to the projector. This is a great fun smart projector for the whole family and it’s less expensive than the previews generation.

I don’t like having a tv in my bedroom , so this is great , whenever I had a tv in my room I would rarely use it , with this projector I use it literally everyday , the quality is amazing and I love that it’s adjustable for any size and portable !

Like someone else said, if you are considering this just get it. The picture quality exceed my expectation, even in a lit room. We are using it on the ceiling in our daughter’s room and I want on now. We tried 2 other cheaper brands and they were garbage. The auto focus is genuis. We have a Samsung short throw projector in our family room and this is way easier to use. Its small and powerful. Its a great option. The sound quality is decent for what we are using it for but others may want surround. It has all the apps we wanted and overall we have no complaints. Love it

It is great for travel because it is small, light, and easy to pack. It works well for short trips and long trips. It also has useful features, like different settings, simple controls, and reliable performance. Overall, it is a helpful device to bring on the go.

With the proper settings, the picture is beautiful and the ease of use is wonderful. The one downside I've had so far is that the remote is power...too powerful...as in if you have another samsung tv anywhere in your home, you will need to turn it off or the Freestyle remote will not work with projector and whoever is watching that tv will think they are going crazy!

Great projector! The only thing I'm having issues with is connecting to the sound bar. Other than that, great buy. I must say, this projector exceeded my expectations in terms of picture quality and overall performance. The colors are vibrant, and the images are crystal clear, providing a truly immersive viewing experience. The built-in speakers are decent, but I wanted to enhance the audio further by connecting it to my sound bar. However, I encountered some difficulties while trying to establish a connection between the projector and the sound bar. I followed the instructions carefully, but it seemed like the projector wasn't recognizing the sound bar. I tried different cables and checked the settings numerous times, but to no avail. Despite this minor setback, I believe it's important to acknowledge the projector's impressive features and functionality. Its user-friendly interface and easy setup make it a great addition to any home entertainment system. The variety of connectivity options, including HDMI and USB ports, ensure compatibility with various devices, further enhancing its versatility. The image projection size is adjustable, allowing me to customize the screen size based on the room and my preferences. I love this projector. Super easy to use. Can use a multitude of apps on it. Great speaker but can also connect Bluetooth to other speakers. Love using it on a bonfire night.

Great projector! We have gone camping and used this to watch AVS games! Works great and will run off a jackery great! It self adjusts, the ability to move and rotate the screen is extremely impressive! Great picture quality! We run it next to our tv at home and can watch multiple games at the same time! Its pretty cool!
