    Not compatible with any device and not up to the morden standard interns of charging port qnd connectivity with other apple products. I needed convenience but this didn’t help

    This is a nice projector that packs a big punch. It has few apps pre-loaded to make viewing easier.

    To any new buyers, read this before you buy it. It’s not the Best Buy you’ll ever make!! This projector is a joke. Samsung looks is in a competition with some cheap knockoff projector to see who can make the worst device better. The Bluetooth connection for this device is the worst. It never connects with an external speaker. To do it right, one has to reboot it every time. To top this, Samsung apparently is aware of this the 1st generation of the projector that came out and they haven’t fixed it yet.

    I’ll start by stating I take great care with all my devices. I figured maybe the other negative reviewers did not or maybe got water on the device. I’ve owned this for exactly 100 days and the decide randomly stopped powering on, tried everything, including other outlets and cables. DO NOT BUY THIS PROJECTOR, this is a defective product! It was great while it worked, but no amount of care matters. I have maybe 50 hours use, indoor only, never leave it running/idle. Completely unacceptable for the price, Samsung has lost my business and you have been warned.

    Lumens are very low. Needs to be a very dark room to get value out of it.

      We appreciate your feedback on The Freestyle 2nd Gen's brightness level. If the image is too dim, try adjusting Picture Mode, Contrast, Brightness, or Sharpness settings.
      Go to Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Picture Mode
      ...and select the mode that best fits your usage:
      Dynamic: Makes the picture brighter and clearer in bright viewing environments.
      Standard: Is the default mode suitable for general viewing environments
      Movie: Is suitable for watching Projector or movies in a dark room.

      You can also manually fine tune your image under Expert Settings. Go to: Home > Menu > Settings > All Settings > Picture > Expert Settings

      Please also make sure you've got the latest firmware version installed. You can check this by going to: Home > Menu > Settings > Support > Software Update.

    Find a different Projector

    This item looks pretty but doesn’t function good enough for the price tag. I tried to return it 2 days after the 30 day window closed and Best Buy refused it. This was over the holidays. I won’t ever shop there again.

    They had me in the first half. But there are much better projectors without the mainstream brand name. Please catch up Samsung!

    Stopped working a year later

    It worked great for a year, then suddenly wouldn’t turn on about a month after the one-year warranty expired. I called Samsung to get help and they told me it would cost $269 to fix. I’m really disappointed because it felt like the perfect projector for the setup in my bedroom.
