Maybe this monitor would be great for a "True Gammer" PC. However, the larger screen real estate at 3840 x 2160, is not that practical for work. I would much rather have a 5K Retina display for the clarity I'm searching for. I'm just not impressed with this monitor at the $600 level.

Great monitor for working on photographs and video

It was time for a monitor upgrade and I'm a samsung loyalist. I have a lot of samsung products and I believe in their products and this monitor did not disappoint. It's big and bright and crisp and things look great at 4K if you have the GPU beefy enough to display at 4K. It also looks great at lower resolutions too My only negative with this monitor is the type and placement of the button that operates the menu. It's behind the bottom right of the monitor and that is also the power button too. I was so used to my touch sensitive power button on the bottom right of my previous monitor. It's not enough of a gripe to take off a star for.

It’s a good monitor overall, but being a tn panel, it does not have the greatest viewing angles. I would still recommend this monitor, it has great settings to customize for your liking

So I had this for a short period of time and I was amazed to see how very nice the image was but I play a lot of games and didn't realize until I start trying to play that it was capped at a 60hz refresh. At least that's all I got out of it. The assembly is incredibly easy too but when I went to pull it apart and take it back, that almost gave me a heart attack especially since there were no directions describing the disassembly of it. Essentially you leave the base installed so you can "rip" the stand out from the monitor itself. That's the only scary part to this monitor though. Other than that I would have used it for watching videos or basic activities.

Huge step up from my old Acer monitor from about 9 years ago. Really liking the 4K usage. The biggest gripe is the button placement. It's on the back side, bottom right hand corner. You have to reach under the monitor to access it. The menu is only clunky as it's new to me still. There is PiP and PbP, but I'd rather have a separate monitor on the side to run Netflix, TV or whatever content you're looking to push over there. The PiP just eats your menu/button real estate in the corners and every time you resize the PiP screen it resets the volume source. Bought this on sale, still not cheap, but was a good enough deal in comparison. Hope it lasts me as long as my old monitor did.

My 30" Cinema Display went out so I bought this monitor at Best Buy the same day. It only has HDMI and display port connections. I use a Mac Pro - 2010 version. It doesn't have but in HDMI or Display port so I had to buy an adapter - HDMI to Minidisplay port . The guy at Bestbuy sold me a cord but it wasn't compatible with a 4K display so I only got up to like 1920 x 800 or something. I had to buy the correct adapter at Amazon because Bestbuy didn't sell it in the store. I used the HDMI cable that came with the monitor to connect it to the adapter and it looks really great. However, there seems to be an issue with the vertical placement (which isn't adjustable even though it says it is). The top reflects the top mac menu bar and it sometime has issues where the dock will get all wonky and the screen will get off kilter (like the entire screen is down and to the right). It's a decent monitor and looks great when it's working right but it does seem to have a couple of issues with Macs. However, if I reboot it resets the monitor and it seems to work again fine. Sometimes I can unplug the cable and it will work again as well.

This monitor has great screen resolution! Very pleased! It works amazing with the new Alienware Area 51 gaming desktop!

I bought two of these monitors for a new desk setup and I am very pleased! The price was great and the quality is fantastic. The only downfall to the monitors is they are not 60hz.

So I was in the market for a new monitor, and wow does this one fit the bill. I got it for the dual purpose of gaming and for schoolwork. The screen area is fantastic and really facilitates having multiple windows open for that purpose. I originally had a 760gtx pushing the monitor and was getting almost 60fps in World of Warships on this thing, but I moved up to a 1060gtx and wow what a difference... no AA needed here. Ship detail is crisp and I'm getting over 50fps with all settings maxed out at 4K. It looks glorious and bright - definitely buy this model. It's important to know which model because the previous version of this monitor didn't do 60hz at 4K

Display is crips and clear with no backlight bleeds to blotches I was disappointed in the fact this monitor does not have built in speakers but does have a headphone jack

I love this attractive monitor! I researched monitors for a reasonable price and this was by far an easy choice for me. I buy according to my needs and I don't expect a Prius to run like a BMW. Apparently some reviewers do. I have a 4k graphics card and use the display port with this monitor and I am very pleased with the sharp details and color it displays. I edit my amateur digital photos and videos using it. It sets back nicely in the opening of my computer hutch. The low profile stand does not waste space like my former one. Very pleased!

Perfect size for kitchen or kids room. Nice hdtv quality. I was looking for 4k for a size 28inch. However this quality tv fulfills my need. Thank you samsung and bestbuy.

Very happy with all aspects of the monitor. I use it with a new MacPro laptop and it is outstanding. It was also very competitive compared to other monitors on the price.

This monitor is great for using with Xbox One X. Very large and detailed picture. The response time completely changed the way I play. Love love love this display.

I ended up getting this after seeing it had 1ms response and it was uhd was pretty pricey but for me is so worth it the picture quality is outstanding. Great monitor if your looking for an upgrade

I use this monitor for gaming and watching videos. The clarity and detail is great. Picture is smooth and clear no matter what I’m doing. Only down side is no built in speakers.

I love my new Samsung monitor. The image is very clear and the colors bright and accurate. The size fits well on my desk. The set-up was painless and quick.

Samsung always impresses with their beautiful colors and sleek design. I bought this monitor on a whim because it was on sale. Right out of the box I was able to see the difference between my 1080p and 4K resolution. Textures that I had never noticed before appeared right before my eyes and colors were so much more brilliant! I am even amazed at how many Fortnite games I have won with this monitor and it's latency specs!
