Unless you are staking your washer and dryer, you will need pedestals to put them at a decent height. Bending over to load and unload will be a big hassle. The storage is decent, even though you can't put Costco-sized containers in the bottom. The pedestals are great for storing other laundry-related materials.

Actually makes a really big difference in the height of the machines. The extra storage is also very helpful and help keep the laundry area neat. I definitely recommend having these. I couldn't imagine not having a pedestal and having to bend down to dig deep in the back of the dryer or washer.

We use the pedestals with both our washer and dryer. The pedestals are great in elevating the appliance so you're not bending over to load or unload and they are a fantastic storage space for anything you need to keep near the washer and dryer like dryer sheets, color catchers, extra detergent, or even if you want to keep spare towels or something in a designated place.
It's fantastic to hear that these pedestals make laundry easier and more convenient to to. ^Lo

Both my girlfriend and myself are 5' 11" and having these has saved our backs when doing the laundry. No more bending way over or getting on our knees to load and unload. Also because these have drawers it makes thigs much easier to store detergent and other washer essentials.

We have a tight laundry room and these pedestals have made the small space more organized and cleaner. As an added bonus, we love the easier access to washer and dryer due to the raised height.

Samsung originally sold a pedestal that was much shorter and did not have a drawer like my old washer had. Luckily they finally released this newer higher pedestal with a drawer before my washer was delivered so I cancelled the smaller pedestal for this one. It’s too bad they don’t make these pedestals universal.

I bought these about 2 years after buying the washer and dryer. I love not having to stoop down so low to move/remove my laundry. And the added storage is very appreciated!

I have owned washers and dryers with and without pedestal bases. I would never go without again. The convenience of not having to bend all the way down to floor level, plus the additional storage drawer in the pedestals, is well worth the cost. I would highly recommend this to anyone agonizing over this decision!

these stands are a must if you buy this washer/dryer, which you should, because they're awesome. they raise the appliances to the perfect height and provide some much needed storage space.

Great product till installers dented it with replacement washing machine that was dented before, now dented again with my newly dented pedestal. But it was great before and i recommend it to everyone. Just suck it up and buy it. You'll thank me later.

The pedestals are a must for me. Dryer pedestal is on back order. Coming 11-24-2020. With back issues, the extra height from the pedestals makes using the appliances so much easier not to mention to storage for supplies. Plenty of room and pleasing to the eye. Makes the entire laundry room look perfect.

Installation pockets were slightly misaligned. We had to loosen the mounting pockets. The we set the dryer on it. SLightly lifted the dryer to tighten the pockets in the adjusted location. Otherwise has been working great since install.
Thank you for sharing your feedback about your pedestal. Should you need support in the future, please don't hesitate to contact us at www.Samsung.com or by calling 1-800-7267864 (1800-SAMSUNG).
Have a great day.

This is a very solid and quality cabinet. The storage drawer is not tall enough to hold bottles of Tide or other liquid detergents, nor bottles of softener or bleach. Probably okay for containers of detergent pacs - not much else so you pay a lot of money for a storage drawer with limited use.

These drawers are a game changer for front loaders. You dont have to get on your knees to look for all the socks!
The drawers themselves have lots of room for supplies and slide out effortlessly.
I would recommend this to a friend

Even on sale, this thing is pretty expensive for what it is: a drawer that can hold the weight of your washer or dryer. Pros: color is pretty and it matches my washer dryer set. there is a divider in the drawer that you can move to make two separate spaces of adjustable size, so that's convenient. Cons: it's not worth the money in opinion.

wife loves them for the extra storage. Make sure you have enough clearnce if you put the appliance under a cabinet. I measured and just had about 2 inches of clearnce between washer/pedastal and bottom of my cabinets.
got 'em on sales. would never pay full price..too$$$$

I love my Samsung washer and the new pedestal! No vibration like my old set. Definitely worth the pedestal if you are short. Helps me be able to reach to the back of the tub to get clothes out vs having to kneel and get half my body in there just to reach the back.
