It makes loading and unloading easier. Also, the storage is small but convenient. Although you can not put large detergent containers inside.

I mostly got them so my washer and dryer were taller. I wish they made less expensive ones that didn’t have a drawer for those people using them that way but these work great for those looking for extra storage.

I do not have to bend all the way down to the floor to load and unload my laundry and they provide storage and they make the washer and dryer look even nicer.

Unfortunately mine did come with a few scratches on them though which is more on shipping than Best Buy itself.

I still think the pedestals are pricey for what they do, but still loving the elevated washer and dryer to save my back.

Lifesaver

But once they were installed not only do they look great they are actually a lifesaver for my back. I no longer have to bend over to get laundry. The laundry is at waist level.

The additional storage space is nice to store other things.

Nice drawer. Matches machines. Having a little trouble with getting washer balanced on pedestal- but installer didn’t check a load b4 he left. Just leveled it.

No more bending over. We have pets so being able to hide things that are dangerous is great too!
