I weighted ~170# and sat on the edge of one as I remove packing material from my new washer and severely dented the side! For the price, I expected an overall more robust design. Once the washers was mounted on top, it feels secure, but I am still not happy with the exterior construction.

Also, one of the pedestals came damaged from the warehouse. The box was damaged and they stated that if the pedestal was damaged, then I could return. I need installation and and new pedestal!

Overpriced

That would make it more worthwhile, if you're tall like me it's definitely a must-have. You could build your own stand but at the time I had dirty clothes piling up so I just got them. I can't say that I would ever been down put anything in them because I have cabinets above. Very sturdy. I'm not recommending this because they are overpriced.
