The SSD works great. It is easy to install and I can see a major improvement in my computer speed.

This SanDisk 120GB SSD replaces an older spinning drive in an Acer Netbook (circa 2008). Installing the drive was very simple. I think it took five minutes. I changed the drive type to ACHI. Computer booted. I installed Linux. It's running smoothly, although the limits of the Acer Netbook are still there. Power on to usable computer is about 45 seconds with the SSD. I have no problem recommending the SanDisk 120GB SSD.

It is faster than a mechanical drive by quite a bit and can handle shock better than a mechanical drive. The drive is not as fast as the more expensive drives, but it performs well for the price.

Bought this to replace an infected HD. Best Buy’s Geek Squad installed it for me last year and haven’t thought about it since. Great value. Great Product. Great service.

Purchased this ssd for my Vostro 3300 and used it primarily for Windows Operating system. Did not want to spend top dollar for bigger ssd. Still was not sure about lifespan of the drive, so all important data was on second conventional drive. Got substantial speed starting windows, opening files and programs got boosted too. Now 3 years later it is still operational.

Not the fastest, not the biggest -- but a great way to get SSD-class speed into a machine without breaking the bank. I use these as OS drives in personal machines and small business servers.

Old laptop with traditional hard drive takes a while to start up. One cheap and worthwhile solution is to replace with this SSD and you get very fast OS startup, as well as opening up applications.

Solid states will change your life. Guaranteed. This one was a great price and it's perfect for someone who saves very little on their computer but likes to browse internet quickly.

I had purchased a used laptop from which the hard had been removed. This was the perfect opportunity to step up to a SSD. My previous laptop was very good but not fast-useful but sometimes frustrating especially if I turned it off and needed to reboot. The 120GB unit I purchased fit my needs well since always had used a 1TB external USB drive for my data. Others might want to go for the 240GB unit.

This SSD is a good performer at a very good price. My laptop boots much faster now.
