I upgraded the mechanical drive in an HP laptop for my father. It does not perform as well as the Samsung SSDs but he is only using it for very simple tasks so it is plenty good enough for that especially compared to the mechanical drive, Laptop boots up in less than 30 seconds now, compared to 2-3 minutes with the old drive.

Took my early 2009 mac mini from slow to wow! Easy to install OS by cloning drive. Startup went from approx. 2 min. to mere seconds! Use it for application storage/OS and files on external. I cannot believe the speed boost it gave my old computer. Windows are super responsive. No more pinwheel of death. Worth every dollar.

Like the SSD, very fast and so far has worked great. Wish you could get more storage for the price but I guess that is the trade off.

Installation was easy using Macrium Reflect free software downloadable. It takes a while to do the copy if you have lots of data, but it is reliable. The product has been performing perfectly to date and speed up allowed salvaging my old PC to make it usable for modern apps.

I installed Windows 10 and it boots up in literally 8 seconds! So fast! I installed a few games too, CS:GO, and a few programs and they load in fast. Way faster than a HDD. I’ll need to get a 1tb ssd soon!

I installed it into a 2011 Lenovo ThinkPad (4242WAR) where it cut my boot-to-login time from 129 seconds to 18. The T520 runs cooler which may extend the old girl's life. She runs longer (on battery) and shuts down quickly. Of course, all applications come up faster. All in all, very pleased with it.

Great job by Sandisk making this drive. Made our laptop run so much faster running Windows 10. If you need speed added to your laptop this would be a great and memorable experience because you will not have to buy another laptop or desktop.

originally bought these for a bmcc but did not work with it, had to return and upgrade to faster drive

Got this for a portable SSD, works fine for that. Specs are not as good as some but it is good enough and reasonably priced.

Used this to replace and upgrade a 250 mechanical drive that I using only 82gb of space in a Dell 830 laptop. After imaging the old drive and installing the SSD, it was like having a new laptop again, everything seemed much faster more enjoyable to use. No cheaper way to extend the life of an old laptop.

Before this product, my laptop had HDD and my laptop was very slow but since I had installed this product into my laptop, I feel that it works much faster than before. It does not take a long time to open my computer. The speed is very perfect for me.

I bought this for my son's laptop. He is a little rough with it had we have replaced the hard drive twice with non SSD drives. I installed this drive just before Christmas and it has been running great ever since. It has even survived a fall from the top bunk bed with no issues.

I've been using this SSD since purchase as my C drive. Absolutely fantastic drive. Zero issues. Be nice if it had cloning software, but no biggie, plenty of free apps out there(Macrium) that do it w/o any issues. Would love one of these in 500gb to 1TB.
