A computer that was in the XP to 7 era was state of the art then, now slow trying to do a clean install. Now on thought, I got this SSD and wow oh wow, It was very easy to install and from a clean install - Win7, all of it's updates, and 3rd party software were installed in record time.

Just copied my existing hard drive to new SSD using Seagate Disk Manager on my desktop machine. Installed SSD in laptop and saw a nice improvement in Win 10 performance. Well worth the price and the power savings .Toshiba Satellite with AMD Turion X2 RM-72. Haven't tried with Win 7 as yet.

These MLC-based drives are fantastic. If you've got a late-model Pentium or Core-series processor, these drives will extend the usefulness of your hardware for (potentially) several years. I've installed more than 300 of these drives, and this series from SanDisk are my favorite.

I have installed and used probably around 30 of theseSandisk SSD's. While they are not the top of the line SSD and You won't get the advertised Read/Write speed They are plenty good for bringing a computer back to life! I have not had one fail on me. They are reliable and work well

Whenever I need to upgrade a relatives computer I always pick up one of these drives, they may not be the fastest but they last awhile and I haven't had a single problem with them. Most recently I upgraded a macbook pro 2010 with one of these bad boys and it now runs fast.

made my desktop alot quicker on startup. this was a great value to soup up my computer

This ssd is perfect for the price. Loaded my os on it and it loads everything instantly

San Disk SSD has always been great for me. I've never had an issue with any purchased.

This Solid State Drive is amazingly faster then any kind of hard drive. I upgraded a laptop with this SSD and I had another same laptop and installed a regular WD hard drive and I played with both laptops to see the difference and YES YOU GUESSED IT THE SSD WON! Its faster.

Purchase and collection was hasslefree and product was ready when i got to the store.

If you need an SSD and you are short on cash this one is the way to go it is quick and efficient and worth its money just know they really dont last that well after a long while (2 years at the most) and can fail so always have a mechanical backup!

Bought this SSD to put in a desk top PC. Easy to install. No need to buy a bracket kit, just connect the hard drive wire and use a couple of pieces of electrical tape to hold in place. Re-installed windows 7 and now the PC starts up in about 10 to 15 seconds.

I just wanted to try an SSD and went with this version from Sandisk and to my suprise it did what SSD says it will do and had a good backup fom my laptop on the battery side of things. Performance I have not tested everything but mostly looks good to me.

Purchased this to be just my OS drive. No latency issues at all. Great boot up speed. Make sure to purchase a separate HD for all your installsto keep speeds up.

This SSD is a great upgrade for those stuck on magnetic storage, and IF my local Best Buy has them in stock, I normally buy them because I will always have a use for one. However, they only have them in stock once out of every three or four trips. A little bird told be that this location only receives a handful of these SSDs every month, if they had more of any SSD for that matter on hand I would certainly buy more.

I purchased this SSD because my 2006 iMac had slowed to a crawl and too forever to load apps/web pages. After replacing the HDD with the SSD, it was like a new machine! I highly recommend this for those that want to extend the life of their computers!

These drives are great if your looking to extend the life of your laptop.

A solid product. We've purchased several (over 100) of these throughout the years (2-3) and have never had a DOA or one go bad. These are not the fastest SSD's on the market but they make perfectly acceptable upgrades for an OLD mechanical drive.

Installed in Toshiba laptop, installed OS, booted up and worked great.

Needed to get an SSD quickly, this fit the bill. Not the fastest kid on the block, but will do just what it is designed for. If you need to of the line, this is not it, but if you are just looking for a good quality and inexpensive SSD, this is it.
