Used with Apricorn - Data Transfer Cable - Gray. to install. Replaced original mechanical drive. Works well, no problems. Speed up computer. Used to upgrade a basic computer to get more speed out of it. Works well.

Great upgrade to a slowing PC. Just clone your C: drive. Really made a huge difference in boot time.

The ssd was purchased for comparing linux/ubuntu on hdd v sdd and for use traveling where the larger files (mainly photos) are stored in cloud space. Overall the sdd was faster (I didn't perform metrics) and I assume required less battery power since it has no moving parts. This device performs well and I would buy it again if I need additional system storage.

I replaced my OS drive with this SSD, and I am extremely happy with the difference it's made in my computers performance. Super fast startup. Make sure you have available eSATA cable and ports on your motherboard.

I bought this SSD to improve the boot speed of my desktop. While it did cut down my boot time to about 1 minute running Windows 10, the bigger benefit is in starting up programs - they now start almost instantly.

Neither of my computers have SATA 6, so I wanted something that was made well, but wasn’t too expensive. These are perfect for that.

I have heard bad reviews about Sandisk but I only witness good feedback. I installed one of these on an Dell Optiplex 780 I was giving away and the computer ran as if it had an i5 in it. Impressed!

This is a cheap and easy solution to increase load speeds by installing windows on this SSD. Highly recommend. But limited space requires that you use another HD for downloads and other installs.

This ssd made my 8 year old desktop run like new again. It used to take 8 mins to boot before I could use it and now it boots up in 30 seconds flat. I would highly recommend this ssd to anyone.

Some say get Samsung brand for better reliability, i find it hard to believe that SanDisk are not that reliable, but it is. This SSD is more than you require just for booting up your windows or other OS (Operating System) fast. Not design for huge application installments but still capable!. Perfect for small and portable device such as slim laptop or netbook that supports 2.5 mm hard drive size slot with SATA3 for the best possible performance! Another benefit is significantly lower power consumption compared to regular/traditional hard drives. if you want more capacity, get higher capacity!

I bought one of these on sale for less then $50 and was able to replace the hard drive on an old 2008 Thinkpad for my daughter to use. Fast and reliable so far after 2 months of use.

I've built several pc's using this exact drive as the boot. It makes a huge difference in pc performance. I use a separate hdd for storage of files and none essential programs.
