This was the first SSD I ever purchased. I have been using this SSD as my Windows 10 C: Drive in my self-built Gaming PC (i5 4690K, 16GB DDR3 1600 GSkill Aries RAM, Gigabyte Windforce 1060 6GB) for the past two years with no issues. I typically experience 35-45 second boot times, blazing fast insta-click Internet site load times. It would be fair to say that after using this SSD for a while now, I'm hooked and may never use a spinning HDD for a main C: drive EVER AGAIN! :)

These SSD drives change an old computer into a FAST computer. No joke, I have take a four year-old laptop, added RAM and a San Disk SSD to it and it runs faster than it did when it was new. You can upgrade the operating system to Windows10 and it works so nice, sometimes you can't go all the way to 10, depends on the brand and the drivers available for your motherboard, might get stuck at 7 or 8. But the speed of the system will be totally enhanced using one of these San Disk SSDs (to be fair, other brands also).

I needed a new HDD to resuscitate my old laptop for use as a HTPC and this was the about same price as the least expensive HDD I could find and it was in stock at my local Best Buy. Booting from an SSD won't make your slow computer fast but it does run cool and it's silent and so far after several months of running windows media center 24/7 its been reliable. Did I mention the price, it's a good brand, cheap for what it is and all i needed for a boot drive. For video file storage I use a big (external) HDD.

Replaced standard hard drive in my laptop. This SSD boots up lightning quick. Night and Day difference. Highly recommend.

I wanted to run Linux on an old laptop, but didn't want to give up my Windows software. The drive was a great price and the quick boot/seek time has breathed new life into a slower PC. I have had no issues with it, great SDD for the price.

Only needed a 120GB drive and this was on sale for a great price. Easy install. No issues. Performance seems solid.

This is about the 10th SanDisk SSD I've bought. There are others which have faster write speeds but for typical PC its just fine. Nice and Fast and haven't has any of them die yet (knock on wood).

This SSD outperforms the competitor drives. This works great for a performance boost on old pc's as well as more recent models. It works on desktops as well as laptops and will surely impress you.

My 500 GB HDD failed and I realized not need that much space so went for smaller SSD. Good price, good performance.

I have an old tank of a Lenovo ThinkPad T520 from 2011. Runs great but slow. I bought the SSD at my local BB and it installed easily. With the spinning, mechanical drive, the power-on to login time was 119 seconds. With the SSD, it's now 20 seconds. It shuts down faster, applications come up faster, and (kind of cool), the battery lasts longer; not pushing a hard drive around. I am thinking of buying another for a 2009 T500.

I bought three of these to use as clones of my C; drive. I used EaseUS to clone my current drive. They are all bootable, and make great backups in case of a disaster or hack (such as I suffered recently). For under $100, I have triple backup! I am a complete believer in SSDs - I have 4+ TB of SSD in my current PC (mostly Sandisk). No problems so far (in more than 2 years of use).

I recently bought this to replace my hard drive in my laptop after the old hard drive crashed. This is actually faster then my old hard drive and it was worth the price.

I've bought (no lie) more than 500 of these drives. I've upgraded older desktops and laptops, making them better than new. On brand new systems, I use them for the Windows drive and use Macrium Reflect (free and awesome) to image the SSD onto the typical OEM 1TB drive. Works GREAT. Best of all, I've literally had ONE of these fail. ONE. Compared to years of worthless mechanical drives, these are incredible.

Without spending an arm and a leg on an SSD I was able to increase the speed of my girlfriends computer with this SSD. Installation was simple, there was virtually nothing different than installing a normal hard drive, only this drive is slightly smaller than the drive in her computer currently and we had to use an adapter. Once it was installed it was smooth sailing. Definitely recommended for a budget upgrade!

Great SSD drive! I own several SSD drives and this one performs really well I have no complaints at all great product at a great price .

Its an ssd. way faster than a standard hdd. Fast boot times and cheap to boot.
