SSD is the way to go for your Operating System

If you have SATA ports on your box, buy the SSD for your Windows 10 (or other OS) and at least another conventional drive for all the data until the SSD prices fall a little bit more. Then maybe another equal size drive to mirror your data for protection. Time will tell if this SSD with its price point is a winner, but for now it's doing just fine. If it does fail, buy another and clone the new one with your back up of the old one. Your data files are untouched AND backed up on the conventional drives.
