We have a considerable amount of genealogy data that we wanted to transfer to the new computer. This item was more than enough to capture all the data and made it easy to use.

This thumb drive is excellent for the price of $6.99. 32GB of storage and USB 3.0 speeds. Well constructed! It doesn't get any better than that.

im a designer so the 3.0 helps a lot the tranfer rate is extremely noticeable compared to 2.0 and 32g with secure and password protection for the prize can't beat it

Its a decent flash drive for the purchase. Cant complain for the 32GB it has. It has no problems recognizing the random PC's i connect it at school.

We use a lot of flash drives and really liked the Glide feature. We didn't have to worry about the drive getting damaged in our bag since it slides into itself.

What can I say? The Cruzer is a bare-bones flash drive made by a great manufacturer. It is fast, it works well, and it was very inexpensive.

As flash sticks get larger we tend to put larger files like video on them, or store a LOT on them, and they seem slow at times. My computer measured write speeds about 6.2 MB/sec, and read speeds about 22 MB/sec. At that rate, a 2GB file takes over 5 minutes to write. Unlike other Sandisk memory sticks I've bought, this one came completely blank with no extra software on it, formatted as FAT32 which can't handle files bigger than about 4 GB. Reformat it to exFAT or NTFS if you need to save larger files, and be patient. Formatted capacity = 31,983,157,248 bytes or 29.7 GB using Windows 7.
