A: It depends on the quality (number of megapixels) of the photos, but it can hold from 4000 to almost 23,000 pictures. If you want to save songs, movies and photos, it is said to be able to hold (according to the SanDisk website) 1000 photos, and 2000 songs, and 8GB of office files, and 80 mins of video. If you only save photos and videos, it will obviously hold more of them..
Q: Does this have a ring so that I can hook up with my key ring?
A: The package doesn't come with a ring, but there is a hole through the back corner so it looks like you could put a thin ring on it and hook it to your key ring.
Q: what is the true capacity these drives have
A: Actual storage on my new drive was 31.6 Gb.
Q: Does it work in a cell phone
A: I purchased a short little cable that plugged into the phone on one end and into the flashdrive on the other end. That enabled me to transfer photos and videos directly onto the flashdrive from my cell phone. The little cable is by Samsung. I can't remember what it was called, but the Samsung guy should be able to show it to you. I happen to have a Samsung Galaxy S6, but I believe that the cable would work with any phone with a micro jack.
