What can I say? The Cruzer is a bare-bones flash drive made by a great manufacturer. It is fast, it works well, and it was very inexpensive.

As flash sticks get larger we tend to put larger files like video on them, or store a LOT on them, and they seem slow at times. My computer measured write speeds about 6.2 MB/sec, and read speeds about 22 MB/sec. At that rate, a 2GB file takes over 5 minutes to write. Unlike other Sandisk memory sticks I've bought, this one came completely blank with no extra software on it, formatted as FAT32 which can't handle files bigger than about 4 GB. Reformat it to exFAT or NTFS if you need to save larger files, and be patient. Formatted capacity = 31,983,157,248 bytes or 29.7 GB using Windows 7.

Rather than purchasing a stand alone hard drive, I saved personal files on this scan disk, and transferred them to the new computer with no problems.

I bought this product to download music to play in my new car as it does not have a CD player. Works great in my car. I am pleased with this product.

Simple flash drive at $7 can’t go wrong just use it to flash or upgrade mother board bios for my PC.

great USB flash drive, works every time. We bought it to save pictures on incase our computer gets damaged, every month we get it out and add it to. Never had a problem
