It's a good product for the price, but didn't come with a rope to attach to it, therefore easy to lose. It also doesn't lock closed, and the plastic/quality feels cheap.

Good price when on sale. The Sliding usb is kind of flimsy. Its also pretty big size unit by todays standards.

Classic case of getting what you pay for. It felt cheesy when picked it up in the store, I should've known better. I used it to back up some files and when I tried to remove it from my computer the rectangular metal piece stayed inside and the rest broke off in my hand. When I contacted San Disk they basically said there was nothing they could/would do about it and blew me off. Luckily I was able to make another back up on a better quality drive. They've come down so much in price that for a few more dollars I was able to get a much better quality drive. Live N Learn

I have used SanDisk USB drives exclusively for some time now. They have always served me well - until now. I purchased the 32GB Cruzer and have used it for about a year. One day, it suddenly becomes write-protected. After several hours of research online, I could not remove the write protection. Upon contacting a SanDisk customer service rep, I was told that the drive self-imposes the write protection when it detects a fault. So the drive is unusable and unrepairable, according to the SanDisk rep.

I almost fall asleep every time I transfer something on here. It took 2 minutes to transfer 400Mb on a Windows 7 machine.

Bought this to back up doc files on an old computer I was replacing. Can't find the receipt and I don't want to hassle with returning the thing. Didn't work out of the package. Asked a couple of geek buddies about the errror messages and they said junk it. I'm still thinking it would make a great craft project inspiration in my classroom. Save your receipt if you buy one.

Absolutely worthless, unless you enjoy throwing away $100. Every other time I plug it in, I recieve error messages from Windows requiring a reformat or a disk scan (which deletes or "truncates" most of the files). This product is totally unreliable as a file backup storage system and should only be used for entertainment.

Takes 10 min to xfer 3gb file. Who cares if it's only $7 if it's write speed is only 6mb/sec? I have 8 year old usb 2.0 flash drives that are twice as fast as this one. Stay away.

Device feels more flimsy than other flash drives used.

The Toshiba product is a much better drive. The security sofeware works like the old Sandisk did.

Takes ages to copy data. almost 3-4 minutes to copy 1 GB. Even sigle files are copied very slowly
