I love these drives. This is the third that I’ve bought over the last several years. Rugged and never let me down.

I just transferred 26gigs of high res videos in under 1 minute from my 2021 macbook pro! This usb-c drive is excellent, small form factor and ruggedized. Actually smaller than I expected so that's a bonus for my plans to bring it along as we adventure around outside and record with gopros and DSLR's. Love the carabiner option for keeping it hooked to a EDC bag. I plan to use this as the primary drive for all my video edit projects and will rely on the transfer speeds to keep buffering at bay. I purchased this SSD drive because of the transfer speeds. Highly recommend

Got this for work when I needed something easily portable that could hold large video files. It didn't disappoint. I haven't bothered to clock it but file transfers are very quick when utilizing USB-C to USB-C connection. The solid, rubberized casing is durable. You could probably throw this thing across the room and it would be okay (DON'T throw it across the room.) It's small enough to be slipped comfortably into a pocket. Grabbed it on sale for less than $100. No regrets!

I've been using this little SSD as a Time Machine drive for my Mac. It works very well for the purpose. I appreciate how small and light weight it is. Can't say that I use the carabiner hook. One thing that is a bit unique - most vendors with USB-C drives include two cables to connect to the computer with USB-C or USB-A. With this drive a USB-C to USB-C cable is included along with a C to A adapter. The cable is keyed so it only goes into the Type-A adapter in one direction which drops the Ease of Use to four stars. This is a cost cutting measure, and it also saves some waste. I don't mind it, but it is a little different and a bit cumbersome.

Easy to take with me to make sure any work I do while unable to get online is backed up and quickly! Love the ability to put a clip on this to keep it from falling into the abyss that is my travel back pack. Excellent if you just need a place to keep things you don't want in the cloud or risk losing if your computer fails or, perish the thought... stolen/lost

Compact 1TB external drive. Great for transport of files or back up of files.

I owned an external drive previously, but I could only use it on one computer, and it was kind of complicated. I hesitated to buy this, but I’m very glad I did. It’s as easy as using a jump drive. After buying a new laptop, where everything is supposedly saved in the cloud, which I’m not comfortable with, I got this external drive, And am extremely happy.

I Bought for long term storage. I ran a flash disk checker to fill and clear the drive a few times over to verify there weren't any failures OOTB. It completed without issue. It comes with a C to C cable and a usb C to A adapter to use connect with a standard port. No issues with anything, slightly befuddled why they notched the usb C adapter for the cord so it can only plug in one way. It doesn't effect usability at all, just an odd design choice.

I buy a lot of external hard drives to both back up my computers and to store my photographic work. In terms of lightweight storage and protection this SanDisk is amazing. Now you can pay a similar price to get a HDD that will have more storage ( I can think of at least three drive makers that have 5TB drives for about the same price ) but this SanDisk SSD is ridiculously small and solid in design. I literally put it in the pocket on my camera bag wear I would usually put an energy bar. The SanDisk also seems solid enough to take some shocks without the worry of head crashes. It is also extremely fast on both read and write. You can rely on this bit of technology.

was able to transfer 11,000 files fairly quickly...no problems and is of excellent quality...its the real deal...watch out for the fakes but this one is real and is sold by a reputable store well established.

Alot smaller than what i anticipated which is a good thing. Super conveinent little 1tb hard drive. About 9 months into using it and haven’t had any issue yet. Straightforward to use and definitely worth buy i recommend waiting for the sale to get the best deal for thus hard drive. If you need a portbale hardrive A.S.A.P its worth the buy at orginal price too but since this is frequently going on sale i’d recommend buying it than if you don’t mind waiting. All in all great portable harddrive!

This makes an excellent complement to the M1 Macbook Air. Since I purchased the least expensive Macbook Air, I needed the extra hard drive space. The main features that I like about the SanDisk Extreme Portable are that (1) it is fast (especially using USB-C), (2) it is built rugged, and (3) it has a small size that fits easily into my MacBook Air sleeve. One of my concerns was that I would not be able to get files off my other computer using standard USB. However, I was pleasantly surprised when I opened the box and found that it comes with a standard USB adapter. I highly recommend this product

Bought this while I was in college for my MacBook to store information and photos. Works great and versatile with Mac and windows PC. Small sleek. Still using it after College for my career.
