Bought this strictly to do image backups for my new MSI laptop. Right now it's taking about 16 minutes to do 175 GB back up. More than enough write speed for me.

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice design but not even close to speeds advertised on the box, it's never what it seems or even the same or even close with storage, it's either it says 1tb and then it's 890gb, or it will show 1000MB/S and it's 475MB/S, why can they not just say 890gb and it really be 890 gb in stead of saying 1tb, it's a lie!

These 3 descriptions are reasons to get it. My Wife utilizes it for her study materials, I have the smaller 512 GB as my daily backup for work stuff. So far so good
