I'm happy with the SanDisk - Extreme Portable 1TB External USB-C NVMe SSD - Black. I needed to transfer many videos from my laptop to this because I only had 3 gigs left in my laptop's memory because I saved too many videos. I didn't know they were such memory hogs! This SSD's transfer is faster than an external hard drive, will last longer and it's small.

If you're looking for a fast and convenient storage option, look no further. This is portable SSD is extremely fast. I was able to copy over 8gb of videos and photos from my internal SSD on my laptop to the SanDisk drive in under 20 seconds. I was very impressed with how quickly I was able to transfer the media. I'll be using this to transfer large files between my home and work. It's a nice sized drive too, slightly smaller than a credit card in width and height, and just slightly thicker than a usb plug. It also has a nice soft-touch on one side, and a textured side with the SanDisk logo. The drive itself has just a single port, which is thankfully a USB C. An adapter cable is included to go from USB C to A as well. Overall, this is a fast performaning, small and extra-portable drive.

I basically purchased this for high storage and light weight so that I can carry it while traveling and I found the same thing it is very portable and light in weight

This SanDisk Extreme Portable SSD is fantastic! The speed is incredible for transferring large files, but what really makes it a winner is the size. It's so conveniently small and portable, I can slip it into my pocket or bag without taking up any space. This makes it the perfect external drive for travel or moving between different workstations. Highly recommend!

Bought as a gift, they seem to really enjoy this brand one of the best brands on the market would buy again. Can carry wherever you go. Will tell others about the product?

This thing is tiny!!!! I have been wanting a portable SSD. Not to use as a main drive for backups but, given the 1TB of space I have been able to use it as that and a go between for my files and others files as well. It is quick! Given it being an SSD and USB-C that much is expected. I love that I can toss it in my bag and not have to worry about it! My only gripe is I wish that the cable was longer *that may cause an impact in performance I guess?* or something was included like a stand so it wouldn't put a bunch of tension on your USB port depending on the layout of your PC. Laptop users need not worry though! It sounds like you've found an incredibly handy portable SSD! The combination of 1TB storage and USB-C speed makes it perfect for your needs, whether for backups or transferring files on the go. Its compact size is definitely a big plus, making it easy to carry around without any hassle. I can understand your point about the cable length. A longer cable or an included stand could certainly help reduce tension on the USB port, especially for desktop PC users. It's great that laptop users have less to worry about in that regard.

Tons of storage and extremely fast! I use it to store my previous graphic design projects as well as photos from my phone.

Works great. Not a lot of gimmicky software like other SSD’s. Does what it’s supposed to do. Have one of my own and one I bought for a brother

I own a few of these SSD’s and they’re just perfect. They have a nice durable feel to them and the slim nature makes it easy to just keep in my camera bag.

I love it! It’s so easy to use and super-fast. I backed up photos from my old laptop, computer and iphone with no problems.

It’s super fast, small enough and very very quick to connect. I’ve had multiple portable hardrives but this one hands down is the best one.

The ScanDisk Extreme Portable 1TB External disk drive is a handy "tool" to have. Connectivity is simple as it connects via the USB port of your Laptop thereby providing you the 1TB of storage space. Easy setup. Well worth the price.

The best ssd for a crazy good price—this is my third ssd from sandisk, they’re the only one that haven’t failed on me (my oldest is over 5 years old and works like new)
