This is a known issue with macbook compatibility. You can run a terminal command and it will mount. I thought that it stopped working all together until I plugged it into a pc and it read fine. Outside of that - if you own a pc this will be great I expect. Read/write speeds are great. It’s very compact and very portable with a solid build and built in carabiner clip.
