    Worked fine it initially but after about 6 months, I’ve noticed the transfer times are not as fast. The device does run hot too

    I love my Sandisk Extreme SSD. I Use it to supplement the storage in my windows 11 laptop and for data backup. Its fast and it was an easy plug and play operation. It comes with security software to encrypt the drive contents which slows down the mounting of the drive but its an acceptable trade off for the security aspect of securing your data.

    Bought this as a on-the-go content storage drive that I could edit off of. Unfortunately the drive heats up and runs extremely slow. I have some 'My Passport SSD' from WD and they work seamlessly. Was very disappointed in the performance of this drive. Fine for storage but dont plan on using it as a quick access drive.
