I bought this one to replace a 1TB SanDisk. If this one as good as the 1TB I will be completely satisfied. Also I was able to get it on sale, which made it even better.

Fast upload speeds! Perfect for high quality videos

I like the product no complain here just need extra memory and I can across with this is quiet and is really fast loading the file.

Great, unfortunately runs slow on most Mac’s as they cap out at 1000 mb/s

With the right cord this this is a beast unfortunately my usbc cord was faulty and could not recognize the SSD, that being said it’s great to use but if ur paying that amount of money I expect everything to be in working order.

It's a fast SSD, does the job that I needed it to do with no fuss.

I purchased 2 of these at the same time in-store back in April 2023. Less than 3 months. June, I had one of them "unmount themselves", or unexpectedly disconnect from my Mac computer. As a photographer, I bought these for the ability to safely store my photography. Best Buy, still sells these and they are defective. SanDisk knows they are defective and they continue to sell them and not disclose the public. The product is suppose to have a 3 year warranty and they have even lasted that long. Western Digital which is who owns SanDisk is allowing consumers to buy defective products and if they can't repair or recover the item they give you a refurbished. As a photographer, I can not put that trust in these hard drives. Losing data and not being able to recover them is the worst feeling as an artist, a veteran, and it tarnishes my brand. I would not recommend this for any of your storage needs. Return it for a refund when you have the chance.

I have been using this for a while now and have had zero issues with it. I got this on sale so the value was excellent.

This is an ideal easy solution to backup your data.

The usb-c connector that comes with it is too short

I boyght this hoping it could speed up the precess of editing videos throigh prwmier and photos on loghtroom, its the same as the first generation that has a 1gb speed

A must have while editing large video files. The only downfall is they need a larger version.

Very good expansion for my PS5. The quality is very good. Functions just as spec states.

Personally, I think it was a little confusing to navigate the instructions on how to save my pictures from my phone. I end up losing all my pictures and pictures and somehow got stored in a different file on my phone.

I only give it 1 star because I can’t give it zero. After loading the drive with footage from a tv show that we filmed it failed before I could even make a backup of the drive. It was brand new and purchased for this project. I’ve now sent it off to a company in Canada to attempt to repair the drive and recover the footage. The technician said he sees this drive come in all the time. AVOID THIS DRIVE AT ALL COSTS. Get the Extreme (non-PRO) the cheaper one is reliable and doesn’t have the issues this one has. Even the salesman at Best Buy said he’s aware of these drives failing. Get them off the shelves and stop selling them!

I bought 2 of those Sandisk one as storage where my database runs and another as backup of the database storage. and both have given me problems. One of them erased the data and I took it to Best Buy and they gave me a new one because it had not been a week since I had bought it. Since then every one or two days the partition is deleted and I have to format it again and pass all the data from the other sandisk to it. sometimes it is one and sometimes it is another. But if both of them are damaged at the same time, I am left without a database. Now I am in Puerto Rico and it is far away. I have read a lot about this model and 90 percent of them are giving problems. This is unfortunately my review.

After research and review reading, I bought this drive last Saturday March 11, 2023. I formatted it for my Mac, plugged it in and began to transfer files from the Lacie drive it is replacing. It took forever to move the files. Then, the next day, I could not access the drive. Error after error. I was finally able to wipe the drive and re-reformat it. I did another files transfer from the Lacie (7 year old little skinny drive). All data is there and available, however, copying ONE new file over to the drive (1.7G) took 3 minutes. The math just doesn't add up for this to be a fast drive. It is plugged into the USB 3.1 port of my MacPro. I do not trust this drive. I won't for a long time.

Troublesome. Had to replace 2 of them after failures after set up. Reformatting for current Macs is necessary. On line reviews aren't good. Received a 3rd one from Western Digital. Works great. Best Buy made have received a bad batch.
