  • Password protection uses 256-bit AES encryption and is supported by Windows 8, Windows 10, and macOS v10.9+ (Software download required for macOS, see official SanDisk website.) The Sony camera is also included in the bag, along with the SanDisk memory card.

    Extremely fast drive. I use it for my startup drive for my Mac mini and it works great. Just as fast as an internal SSD

    My second SanDisk external drive. I have found these to be very reliable and much more cost effective for my recording studio than buying internal Apple SSD option upgrades. They do get a little warm, but not excessive. They are instantly recognized on my MacBook Pro laptop and offer encryption.

    Fantastic drive that transfers anything you might need at an amazing super fast speed. My 2022 macbook pro set up went real fast with this drives help. Copied complete Itunes library over to new computer in a blink of an eye. And photo/Pictures folder that is over 40 gig by itself in less than a few min. So yup, I am impressed. This is a giant leap for the future of portable storage

    I was at first reluctant to spend the extra money on the version with 2000 mbps read/write speed vs the 1000 mpbs version, but I’m glad I did. Backing up my MacBook Pro using TimeMachine is now significantly faster with this SSD than it was using the slower model, so the transfer rate really is better in the real world, not just on paper.
