simple to install just make a clone of the old hard drive before you take the old drive out, install the new drive and restart.

I've purchased several (25+) of these bad boys. Nothing more can be said other than they are fast as to be expected from an SSD and have as of yet not received a DOA. The product is easy to install. Does NOT include any additional cables or screws. The package does include a spacer to thicken profile of drive, which is required on some laptops.

I have two of these SSDs, this is the second one I bought. The first one was purchased 4 years ago, and is still working fine.

Flawless replacement for my old hard drive. Easily recognized by bios once installed properly. Somewhat tricky to align without guides which this product does not include. I removed the guides from my old hard drive and put them on this one to align install.

Excellent Solid State Drive saved graduation and continues to perform beautifully. The hard drive for my trusted laptop DIED one week before graduation taking my research, and my games, along with it. Picked up SanDisk's Internal SSD from Best Buy, installed it, and rebuilt my world. BS achieved! This SSD is a wonderfully fast workhorse.

I use Sandisk pretty often. I like them. I have not had a Sandisk fail on me. One I have been using for several years. They tend to be cheaper then some of the other brands. SanDisk might not be the speediest, but they are fast enough for the advantage user. Much faster then standard HDD.

Wow i was amazed at how much an ssd helps a system i will never buy another rotating hdd out with the old in with the new

This solid state drive speeds up my PC so much, that I did not have to expand my memory. I would recomend it to everone.

I recently purchased a notebook with 4GB/32GB I flipped it over and it has an empty SSD compartment. The Sandisk 240GB SSD PLUS was the perfect fit. Best Buy had it on sale and in stock. The Win10 system recognized it, I used disk manager to format it in just a few minutes. Nothing else was needed just plug n play.

I purchased this drive to upgrade my old laptop. The laptop originally had a standard radial drive. It had become unusable the laptop would take 20 minutes to load up. Since upgrading to this new drive it’s like a new laptop extremely fast and responsive. I would highly recommend this drive!

Great internal drive with the speed and a good price point if you are looking to upgrade your laptop to a SSD. I prefer my 940GB since I have tons of music, but that's the downfall with the drives being 128GB that is nothing when Windows can eat up 30GB itself and then you start installing programs and have files, that isn't much

For the price this drop be performs amazingly. I have a evo in my desktop but wanted something to make my 3 year old laptop perform a bit better. There is not any software in the box to image your current drive but you can download Acronis from Sandisk site for free and imaging the drive was extremely easy.

Going with a SSD drive over a mechanical standard drive is the way to go. Less battery power, reliability, cooler PC.

Totally worth it, my gaming laptop has never worked so quickly. I can't believe I didn't do this earlier. Plus now I can move my computer heck even drop it and it still works. I have a son and we can be rough on electronics and things, so it's great to have a solid state drive. I recommend anyone to get it, they will love it.

This is an amazing purchase, the HP lenovo Yoga which we bought was really slow and we replaced our existing hard drive with the San Disk one and its 10 times faster than the old one. Saves us a ton of time and also is so fast in accessing the data on it. Simply amazing product, thank you Geek Squad for suggesting to buy this.

This was another good drive for the price! They are good drives for the price and perform well; however, there is not a 2.5-3.5 inch conversion tray (NOTE: The EVO drive also did not have this piece either, if anyone is curious). If you need something cheaper than the EVO, and you are on a budget, this is the drive for you.

This is an excellent replacement drive. Quick loading and smooth running. Plan to replace drives in other laptops.

This is my second purchase of this item. Very easy to install and setup for Windows 10. Makes a world of difference in any operation involving the disk drive (booting up a computer, downloading files from the internet, playing videos and music). Definitely, recommend for older PC that you think is too slow to be useful.

I installed next to a 2Tb HDD and let windows use part of it for speed boost. It was like getting a new computer.

Huge improvement over any hard drive. Windows startup is near instant. Installing, and loading games not even comparable to a disk type hdd. Navigated Windows web browsing is as quick as a click of your mouse. Of course a lot depends on computer setup and net speeds. One of the best performance improvements you can do for sata capable PC. The time saved still out ways the cost, which has grow this year in all things memory. If you have not gone SSD, do it, do it now.
