Better Than An HDD

If you are installing a fresh copy of your operating system you won't need anything additional. If you want to copy your current hard drive to this new hard drive you will need a transfer cable of some type. I use Apricorn Data Transfer Cable, also sold at Best Buy, to make exact copies easily. If you need to replace a failing or failed spinning hard drive this is an affordable option that will most likely give you speed imnprovements. If you are looking for a faster SSD, you may want to consider a higher end model.
