replaced an old intel SSD that was failing. Using this drive for OS, MAME, and Virtual Pinball. No issues, fast enough for my needs.

I upgrade a lot of older computers by swapping out the hd with an ssd. Sandisk makes a solid drive that does the job.

Pretty good SSD for the price, not a super performer but honestly any SSD is better than a normal hard drive. Worth every penny!

Purchased this SSD to replace a legacy hard drive in a laptop that was taking 2-1/2 minutes to get to the desktop screen after powering on. Replaced the old drive with this new unit and re-installed Windows. Laptop now goes from power-on to ready to work at the desktop screen in less than 25 seconds !

Does what it is advertised to do. A great bargain for a small dedicated boot drive with a few other programs and files.

After replacing an old hard disk with this "Solid State Disk", my MacBook Pro now runs visibly faster. The Macbook's standard "Disk Utility" made cloning the old hard disk's contents a breeze. The external disk enclosure provided a way to clone and then allowed the old hard disk to be used as a backup drive.

This unit works fine in my 7 year old desktop. I did have a problem with my BIOS not providing proper driver for AHCI. But that's not the fault of this SSD. There is some performance loss as a result -- so check out your motherboard before purchasing an SSD to see whether you are good to go.

Put this in my Dell laptop,pulled the old one out exchanged the mounting hardware and put the new one in, works great.

Upgraded all of our office PCs to SSDs. With the price of SSDs dropping so fast, was an easy choice. Big upgrade in performance.

This was areplacment for a damaged hard drive that took a hard fall and could no longer be accessed. So far so good. Sems to be miuch faster also.

IT professional here. Machine was running slow, looked up task manager and performance, and boom 80-90% usage on my hard drive when starting Windows or installing anything. Upgraded to this and cloned my Windows 10 to it and now I start up in about 5 seconds and never see slowing down when I install anything.

Needed a small boot ssd for an old netbook. This filled the bill nicely. Ssd scaled to sata 1st gen without any problems. Still faster than a hdd.

Ridiculously easy to set up and just crazy fast... only reason not a 5 is that the software is more cumbersome than Samsung.

SSD Speeds the Restart/Start times by quite a bit of time. I no longer feel I have to put computer to sleep so that I can get back to work fast when I am ready. I can now shut it down and re-start it in no time at all. Working with Lightroom and Photoshop I see improvement also in load times of the previews.

Installation was a bit tricky but that's just due to the fact that I don't know much about computers. Very good drive

PC games are getting so big that loading them of a CD is agonizing, off a mechanical hard-drive it's annoying. However, using a SSD like this one for games makes them load in a few seconds, it's completely pain less. Only thing Is that you may need two of these if u have alot of games, or get a bigger version.
