Reliable SSD

It doesn't recognized even I tried using it as an external drive. I bought a new one and not sure how long it will last again.

It works, but poor performance compared to others

Owned for 2 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I've upgraded around 100 computer systems with SSDs in the last few years and have used SanDisk in the past without issue. This drive worked fine, but, even before benchmarking, I could tell the performance was not up to par compared to those I usually use. Benchmark showed the Samsung drive in my laptop performed about 50% better overall than this drive. Of course, Samsung drives tend to be more expensive, but I'm fairly certain this particular drive is slower even than the other Sandisk drives I've used that were priced similarly. It's quite noticeable, which is disappointing.
