It wouldn't fit in my Dell laptop. It was older refurbished Dell Latitude though, so that may have had something to do with it.

Purchased the SanDisk SSD for a new build for a desktop. It was a clean install and all went well with the build from installing Windows 10 Pro to the printers, networks and NAS. I have used many, many SanDisk SSD's for my builds without issue. Unfortunately, this build failed after two days of use. As yet, I have not returned the disk to SanDisk but I did purchase another SanDisk SSD to replace the failed SSD. The only thing that I am lousing is the time that I've spent devoted to the builds and the time to get a refund from the failed drive.

After initialization, it had less than 180 GB! Also caused issues with recognizing a secondary drive.

I have had tp restart this computer every time I use it. The key board takes some getting use to. I plan on bringing it back in for the g squad to check.

This is my second ssd and Im having problems getting this one to format. Not sure if something is wrong with the drive or Im having other issues.

I thought i'd see a significant speed increase over my old HDD, but no such luck. I see no difference.

Skip this Drive Get The Samsung 850 EVO for just a few $ More it is a lot faster had to return it because it is a slow drive.

I bought this when it was the Deal of the Day since it was a very good price. Unfortunately, it was DOA. I tried it on 2 laptops and 1 desktop. I also tried it on 2 different external USB enclosures and still got nothing. I exchanged it but the second one was also DOA. Poor quality control by Sandisk. I just wound up returning it. Best Buy's Customer Service was excellent throughout.

Bought the SanDisk SSD Plus for a new computer install. Windows 10 could not find the drive. Made sure all of my connections were tight (SATA cable to motherboard and drive; power cable to drive). Still a no go. Tried it in another computer. Still not recognized. Returned for Samsung SSD. Samsung was recognized immediately.

Already wearing down. It lags just pulling up a Wordpad document.

SanDisk SDSSDA240G SSD Plus 240GB Drive is very difficult to install, without any software to transfer OS. This particular Drive seemed to have issues, My PC would see it, but when Windows 7 tried to write an Image or if I tried to do a fresh Install the Drive was not recognized. Even SanDisk SSD Dashboard wouldn't recognize it either.

For a few years we had been experiencing weird things, a slowed down laptop and disgusting SPAMS. With the installation of the new hard-drive and purchase of a new mouse, everything is working perfectly, few if any SPAMS and a mouse arrow that we can't keep up with. Halleluhah!!!

works fine in simple use case, but for more demanding cases look elsewhere. I bought it to use as a back up clone of my MacBook Air but was unable to do a restore when booted from this drive. Read errors then stalled and crashed every time.

SanDisk PLUS 240GB Internal SATA Solid State Drive works great. Very reliable. Uses a lot less power than conventional platter HDD's. I would buy a 512 GB drive now days, since the prices have dropped since my purchase back in 2021.

This SSD lasted only 5 months before crashing. SanDisk couldn't care less when I contacted them. So, that's what SanDISK wants me to think of them. Now it's my turn.

This solid state is working so far, however the one that was needed for my son at college is not working after only 5 months - died the day he needed it for a final exam & is now sent in for repair.

Seems like a good and nice ssd for a farily low price them I bring it home and install it it doesn’t work so I switch sata and power and still doesn’t work

Not sure why I did not buy a Samsung SSD from the beginning... mine crashed around the 3 year mark. I would not recommend for gaming.
