SanDisk - 240GB Internal SATA Solid State Drive Plus for Laptops or Desktops. I do prefer the PNY Drives when going for cheaper SSDs but these work fine.

This drive definitely met my expectations. If you haven't replaced your older, spinning drive in your computer, adding a SSD makes a night and day performance difference, and this SanDisk drive is a very speedy one.

Customer complained about stuttering video when playing online you tube videos. Installed the faster hard drive (old SATA hard drive was a 5,400rpm drive). The score went from 4.6 to 7.1. Very satisfied customer.

this ssd is a steal for the price, I could not do much better than this price anywhere, it is fast and no complaints. I've used more than one of these in the past, always been a good drive.

Installed this in one of my desktop computers and it has made a world of difference! Do not hesitate to upgrade - use a free software like clonezilla to transfer an image of your machine to this and off you go!

Works as you'd expect an SSD to work. Great value for the money. Used it to replace the hard drive of a 2010 Macbook Pro, which changed the computer from borderline functional to zippy.

If your laptop still had a mechanical HDD pick up one of these. You will not be disappointed. Saves your battery and computer is extremely fast. Significant improvement to my productivity.

240gb for $80 is a pretty good deal. Put this in a 2012 MacBook Pro. Unfortunately due to the internals of the MacBook I’m not tapping into the full potential of the SSD. A lot darn better than a HDD though

After going to an SSD drive, i could never go back to a slower mechanical HDD to run my operating system. Boot time from pressing the power button til the Win10 sign on is 11 seconds! Wow.

Swapped out old Hard Drive for the Scandisk SSD and what a big performance boost! It would take 10 minutes to boot up windows 10. Now boot up is 4min! PC runs like brand new again!

I bought this to replace the missing drive in a netbook I bought online. Installed Linux on it and it was easy as pie. Works great and is faster than a hard drive.

Our work laptop is some "cheapest you can find at walmart" laptop. 4gb of ram. An Intel Pentium or a celeron or something. Like 2 cores lol. 5400rpm hard drive. Just comically slow. Would crash running Excell all the time (and I wager that windows was really making heavy use of a page file since there was only 4gb of ram) but adding a solid state drive really sped that puppy up. Went from the hard drive being like a serious limiting factor to probably the ram and processor being the bottleneck. But having flash memory for a page file is probably 10x better ^_^ so yea. Definately the performance increase I was expecting. And the price ^_^ so pleased
