I've been using this drive for the past few months and I can honestly say that purchasing it is one of the best decisions I've made for my computer. I bought this to place my boot sector/OS on and my computer is the fastest it has ever been.

I have 7 SSD drives in 3 computers and have never been disappointed. This is the 3rd SanDisk of various size and it is no exception. Prices have dropped over the years so they are really a no brainer. You will not be sorry!

This Sandisk 240gb Internal SATA SSD is very fast accesing files. Good for the price.

Great choice to move your operating system to a solid SSD. But do some planing to ensure its large enough to hold everything you have on your C: drive you may need to upgrade your choice to a larger drive,

Man i gotta say i will never go back to a regular hard drive for installing an OS on any PC/laptop i have never seen a system boot so fast. I you don't believe me try it for your self and i promise you will say the same. WOW!!!

Not the fastest SSD if you look at the numbers. Personally I can't detect the difference between this unit and my Samsung 850 drive. It's plenty fast enough for a decent workstation. With the price dropping weekly this is a no-brainer upgrade.

Have a 9 year old laptop that ran with a 500 gig hard drive. Much smoothe, quieter now that it has a solid state drive (240 gig). Also updated by Best Buy to current Windows 10 and reloaded all software as before.

Used this to replace a 7 year old hard drive in a laptop that I didn't want to replace. The laptop now works like the first day I bought; actually it's even faster now! Easy upgrade that's worth the money - make your old laptop new again!

I installed this in a 2009 Macbook Pro in hopes of breathing some life back into it. Basically made a 9 year old laptop completely usable. Definitely would recommend to anyone hoping to make an old computer relevant again.

Took my computer from taking minutes to boot to seconds. Games load faster, Chrome opens nearly instantly, and no noise! 240GB isn't a lot of space, but great deal for the price, and well worth it for the speed.

Good for older equipment, boosts speeds,ssd is the way to go replace those old hard drives

It’s either Samsung or Sandisk. But I found this on sale so I went for Sandisk since Samsung still high. But if you can afford the Samsung then it’s a no brainer. Still sandisk still good and affordable. Good name brand.

My laptop was slowed by an expansive software update that my 7 year old hard-drive could not accommodate. Thanks to this new, reasonably priced hard-drive and the skill of the technician who installed it, my computer is like new!

I replaced a traditional hard drive with this one and was blown away at the difference in speed. I can go from shut down to logged into Windows in less than 30 seconds which took a few minutes with the old hard drive.

Bought an HP Envy x360 with a HDD. Wasn't cutting it for me. Had Geek Squad install it for me and now my laptop boots in 3 sec (compared to 30 sec) and fully utilizes my 16gb of RAM. I would HIGHLY recommend upgrading to this SSD.

This SSD operates as expected. It decreased boot up time for my MacBook Pro, along with decreasing the time required for apps to launch. This purchase removed the need for me to purchase a new laptop, since I also upgraded the RAM.

I always use sandisk products because I rarely have any problems with this brand.The drive I purchased was installed in an older laptop with a linux operating system.The pc boots quick and runs smooth.I would purchase again.
