This SSD operates as expected. It decreased boot up time for my MacBook Pro, along with decreasing the time required for apps to launch. This purchase removed the need for me to purchase a new laptop, since I also upgraded the RAM.

I bought this to make it a boot drive for my ridiculously slow laptop since i heard of so many people doing it, and it sped it up a lot. total boot to log in time for me is now 12 seconds, i highly recommend this.

Very fast hard drive for laptop computers great transfer speed

I had this drive over 7 months and it has been solid, windows 7 boots within 10 sec. amazing!!! if you are not looking to buy a new laptop but want to speed up your laptop or pc without breaking the bank, than you this is for you.

If you are looking for an easy upgrade for your machine and a cost effective one this is it! Windows along with any apps will load much faster and breathe life back into your aging machine.

I've installed these SSDs in all of my computers and I love them...the first one I installed probably about 4 years ago is still going strong and I notice no difference in performance from when it was new...very fast!

SSD's are the way to go for speed and it saves you the cost of buying a new machine. Its buying longevity and speed. Nice results for your pocket book so you can buy something else. It's a win win situation !!

After I replaced my regular HDD with this SSD, my boot up time improved significantly from over a minute to just over 20 seconds. It's cheaper than the Plus but a tad slower. if you are on a budget, get this. if not, get the plus.

Well I came in because I wanted more production out of my laptop and was told to get a SSD to improve it's staring up and make application start up a lot faster. Everything the technician told me was true I'm a happy customer.

It hold enough data from my camera to transfer to computer for edits. It's priced fairly for the amount of data that it holds and compared to competing brands. I mean it gets the job done so I'm happy.

Had my wife's seven year old computer upgraded to a new SanDisk 240gb solid state hard drive. The quick start-up puts a smile on her face. With the operational speed increased, she is less frustrated.

Have bought many of these including the 120GB version. These will turn an older laptop into something faster than most modern laptops. Well worth the purchase. Have not had one failure. Also a great purchase for a new PC build.

I've been replacing the drives in my family's PC's and laptops over the past year as they either get older, show signs of failure, or run out of space. Prices are more affordable now and the performance boost pays for itself.

Replaced a defective hybrid 1 TB with the Sandisk 240. Overall speed is boosted and did not need the space the hybrid provided anyway. Plug and play installation ... great replacement for the price. Would take the same route again.

Solid state memory improved the speed of my IMac significantly. Although more expensive than hard drive per GB, totally worth it. I only wished I splurged for the 500 GB model. Once you try solid state memory, you'll never go back.

The Ssd drive was easy to install, but hard to transfer files over to. It said it came with a transfer program but did not. Downloaded one but it did not work I ended up have to reinstall Windows and I hope it works now. If it does then this was worth it. Nick was very helpful, and qualified me so I did not over spend or get to small of a drive. I am happy with my purchase, I wish I was better at installing.
