This was to replace a slowing failing hard drive in an older Dell laptop running Windows 7 home premium. The cloning was via the 2.0 Usb and took quite a while, but the new SSD is perfect... booting in about 15 seconds.

My old netbook needed more space and honestly too a while to load at times. This little ssd really spead things up and since its a bit bigger in memory space it was well worth the sale price. Highly recommend this product.

This has been a good drive. I have been using it for quite a while now. This was one of the less expensive options at my local store and so far it has served me well. I would buy this again, if I needed another one.

I replace my old HD with this SSD, improvement was very noticeable, SSD is the way to go, there is a cable that will help you clone your HD to this SSD, I got the cable from best buy too

pretty good read/write speeds. so far out of all the ones I've purchased, not a single one has failed or given me issues either. its a must for compuiters, even new ones if they don't come with an ssd already.

If you want to breath life into older laptops or desktops.. this is the way to get a couple more years out of them. Install ssd, install operating system and you have a new computer again!

Good piece Of course it is too small now, but you have to bite the bullet sooner or later. I did mine at the 240GB as 128GB seemed too small and 512GB was still over a C note This one is large enough to hold my OS and some other stuff. It gets transferred around from machine to machine Beats a USB drive

Ever since I installed this in my laptop the speed has gone up exponentially. So much BETTER and FASTER than the drive that was originally put in by Apple when my MacBook Pro laptop was made.

I have in my last three laptops had a SSD drive replace the memory. I sacrifice some space but the increased speed of operation far out weighs the loss. I highly recommend this product to those looking for speed.

For the price I paid, this SSD is pretty good. Although it is TLC based and not MLC, but with the DRAM cache, it is fast. Speeds up my 3 year old Dell laptop from mechanical/platter based hard drive.

We bought several of these drives in the past 2 years or so, they are very reliable drives, the BIOS always recognizes the drives we used them in DELL and machines desktops and laptops, however recently I noticed the write speed on this year's model were testing at 160 MB/s compared to last year's 500 MB/s the read is still at 500 MB/s still a very good drive.

This is a great upgrade to an older laptop that still had a HHD. If you dont need tons of storage but would like to bring some life into an older system thus is a great way.

Big enough for what I need and very fast boot times.

No issues using this to upgrade a new Dell laptop with a HDD built in. No frills (for example, no included software), but that's easily remedied with free downloads. A decent solution for the price.

Used it as the primary bootable drive for an older computer that I wanted to make usable again. It serves the purpose well, W-10 boots in under 10s. So far no issues. Will buy another to upgrade another machine.

This 240Gig SSD helped speed up my computer dramatically. 240Gigs is plenty of space my old drive can be used as a second or external drive to store backups or older data. This is the third one I have purchased.
