||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was tired of my traditional hard drive slowing everything down on my old laptop, so after looking into newer laptops, I discovered it wasn't my processor but my hard drive that slowed things down so much. I gave the solid state hard drive a chance and it works great as an alternative to a new computer altogether. I would recommend getting a hard drive with similar size to the one you're replacing though. I returned this one and got a 480 GB solid state before I installed this one. I couldn't be happier with it. It's so much faster now and the load and startup times are only a few seconds instead of a few minutes!

Great upgrade to a 6 yr old laptop
