SSDs are the way to go for larger files

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I personally haven’t used HDDs for a few years and was looking for a decently sized desktop hard drive to store raw image files and 4K footage which I currently store on expensive portable SSDs — and unfortunately the write speeds are just way too slow for my workflow, so I’ll be going for a dedicated SSD raid (or similar solution) for my needs here on out. Transferring files from a 2TB portable SSD to this HDD was literally taking hours, so I just need a faster solution.

Should be used with a MAC

It says it can be reformatted to be used with other operating systems but when Geek squad arrived and reformatted it, it wouldn't work the way we wanted it to function so we had to return it and purchased an easystore external hard drive.

Sleep Issues
