I picked this drive up as a backup device to store important files and documents that I wanted to save. Being USB 3.0, it's quick when transferring files to and from it. I've found SanDisk to be one of the most reliable flash drives on the market today, so that's what I purchase when I need them.

This 256GB thumb drive is a solid performer, and can store a reasonable amount of multi-media files and large data sets. The USB 3.0 standard provides fast data transfer rates. I highly recommend this product for a portable backup solution.

I've used many Sandisk usb flash drives and this one isnt quite the best performance but definitely a great value. Read and write speeds are sufficient for backing up music, videos, and pictures. I prefer their solid state drives for best performance.

I had the 64 GB version of this product and it has lasted well over a year even after striking it while moving my laptop and tilting the USB. Despite this, the item works great. Paid $23 on sale for 128gb usb drive. Usb 3 compatible, worried about slow transfer rates based on reviews but was happy when write speeds clocked in at 30-40 mbps while transferring hundreds of music files and a few movies. I am currently using this as a media device for Xbox One and it works fine.

SanDisk is a reputable brand for USBs, so it will do the job. I bought a mini SanDisk USB which would occasionally overheat unfortunately, but had no issues with this. A good USB for an affordable price
